I thought of another: it would be great to change make-up by outfit, like with hair.  Who wears eye liner in the pool?

YES! That's what I was thinking too. No one (or at least I don't and I wear tons of makeup in real life), who is sensible in real life, wears makeup to bed or the pool. Also, I think Mascara is a must for our Sims too. Maybe, a spray tan? Although, maybe it will be added in a future pack, I would imagine, but now, I can only work around it through Edit in CAS cheat.

Curly hairstyles are something I think should be added. Perhaps, that could be a Sim's swimming outfit, and we could assume that they straighten their hair on a regular basis, (assuming their standard hairstyles are straight). In real life, I have curly hair, which I straighten about 75% of the time, and my hair does NOT stay straight when I swim or use recreational activities (hot tub, water slide, sprinkler), nor do I even bother to wear it straight for such activities, so I think the virtual Sims should have naturally curly hair too, I mean, some premade townies dye their hair, (Cornelia Goth, VJ Alvi, Zelda Mae, Madison VanWatson), so why can't a super curly hair style, with their swimwear, but a default straight hair style imply the same deal?

I agree with CSquared2 on the outfits as well. Some of them are out of style and old fashioned. Sims 2 at least has more stylish modern themed.

Also, I think EA needs to give us more tattoo placements, and perhaps sleeve tattoos.

I agree with this.  It's very easy, since we can change hair by outfit, to change someone's hair to reflect that they've been swimming or that they put their hair up to go to bed.  That's the case if the hair is straight.  There isn't enough variety among the curly hairstyles that do exist to anything comparable with them.  Along those same curly-haired lines, there's just not enough in the way of hair you would see on people of African descent.  Sure, there are a few options, but not enough to reflect the great creativity women in particular display in their hairstyles.

I think longer big voluminous hair, like the CC Style you see on the exchange Sims, should be added in CAS too. Also, more toddler hair styles. I think toddlers should have longer hair. When I was a toddler, I had long thick hair like that in real life. Also, I agree with VampirePlasma, about the streaks. Sims should have one or two streaks. I also want to see hair accessories stand alone, and not on the hair style (headbands, hair clips, bows, sunglasses on the head).

I agree.  I want a wider variety of hair, in general, especially short styles, but what I want most is curly hair.  I don't have all the SPs so maybe I am missing a stye,  but I don't consider any of the hairstyles as being curly.  Wavy, but not curly. I guess I am a bit skewed as I have extremely curly hair.  The long spiral type so everything else seems wavy to me. LOL.

I would like the option to change heights, but it isn't something I care too much about one way or another.  I would, though, like more makeup options. And the ability to thicken and thin eyebrows.  I also agree about the nail polish.  Manicures at the spa would be cool if you could pick nail polish colors. With hair, low lights and highlights would be nice, instead of one or the other.

I kind of want to see more gender specific children outfits. Most of the options children have now, are very little variety, (even with the expansion packs). I think Girls should have the options of trendier dresses, and tunics with leggings, as well as different styles of flats and other cute dress shoes. Also, more children hairstyles, and longer ones too, because there are plenty of real life girls in the single digits with long thick hair, and they don't just do ribbons and bows too. Generations did have a long hairstyle for girls, however, I think Sim girls in the single digit-preteen range should have longer hair options with headbands, half up hairstyles with a bow, and maybe convert Dorie Hart and Lisa Bunch's hairstyles for children. I think Cindy Brady style pigtails should be added for little Sim girls too. Also, to those like me who are familiar with the previous Sims Games before Sims 3, would remember this more, but Cassandra Goth's pigtails, should also be a style for the Sim Girls in the age range of 5-12 too. My hair was very long in elementary school, so I don't see why virtual elementary school girls can't have hair like that.

For virtual elementary school boys, I think more baggy clothes, and shaggier hairstyles, as well as spiked should be added as well. I think hoodies, athletic shorts (Nike, Puma Adidas style) should be an option for them, in wider varsity. I want to see them have more dress shirt options, and for the next Generations patch to update so the dress shoes and sandals aren't meshed for boys. I don't like that virtual elementary school aged children have unisex options, with less variety.

I think Sims 3's next SP should focus on trendy clothes and hairstyles for the toddlers and school-aged Sims (Children and Teens) and less on the Young Adults-Elder Sims, giving them cute flats, trendy tops, bottoms and full outfits, and trendy hairstyles like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and other teen stars, that have different pigtails, and headbands and cute hats for girls, shaggy grown out, spiked and long hairstyles for boys. I want them to have more earrings and bracelets too.

As far as super curly styles, there's the pigtails under the female child hairstyles, but that's it. All the store items just look more like they curled it for a special occasions, and the Just Divine, and The Blake are very voluminous, but they're just like beach waves, along with the ambitions hair options.

EDIT: Just Divine and The Blake are young adult-adult female hairstyles found at the official Sims 3 Store both for 100 Sim Points. Just Divine is the hairstyle on my avatar, of my Sim-Self, and The Blake is very similar to the Just Divine style I'm sporting on my avatar, but a little longer, and more wavy, and parted further to the right. Wanted to make that clear. :)

I'd like height sliders, too, because in real life, when I hug my guy friends, I have to stand on tip-toe or they have to bend down. I'd also like split tans. My skin in real life is not the same tan all over. Example: My legs are much darker than my back, as they spend more time in the sun.

Something that would be cool is if you could change the whites of your eyes. It would be interesting too see different colors like red or black! Cat eyes would be pretty cool too.  ;D

I would also like to see more variety's of the mid-length-long hair styles, instead of just the two we have now (the ones that are just below the shoulder). They need different degrees of volume and parted differently, not just on the right side or in the middle. We need some left sided parts too. Also, I want more flower clip hairstyles as well (not just the one Zelda Mae sports).

For boys, I think children and toddlers need the option to have Gunther Goth's hairstyle. I think it would be cool for EA to recreate a similar style to Slashes or Brian May's curly hair for the male Sims of all ages. I'm sure they will have a Rock N Roll stuff pack to include those hairstyles very soon. (Hopefully).

Future Stuff Packs, or even expansion packs, need more maternity wear options. I really like that Generations included the maternity wear options, and I hope they continue to provide more maternity wear in the future.

Also, I think ankle bracelets would be cute for female Sims children or older, too.

I want to see CAS include more styles of Flats. In real life, I prefer flats over high heels, despite the fact that I'm exactly 5 feet tall, and it would be cute if EA gave girls (all ages) different flats, with the little bow in the front, as well as flowers on the sides.

I want to see more eyeshadow and eyeliner, and even mascara options, in different colors.

I don't really see the point in mascara except for the fact that we can make their eyelashes look longer and thicker but a trick to make it look like the same thing that I always use is using the eyeliner that is one streak across the top lid, that always makes my sims look like they are wearing mascara. I agree, it would be cool if we could change the colours of their eyelashes, I've always wanted a deep purple 'mascara' for one particular outfit I had created for my sim..

You know one thing that I want really bad? I want a really long braid to the side! I don't care which side, I just want one!

Something that would also be neat is if you could save different facial settings. Let's say you made a nose that you like on a sim so you save that certain nose to where all the other pre-made noses are. Same thing with the mouth, head, and eyes. Sorry if that sounds of kind of confusing.  :)

Pale skin color, like Snow White. Since this is CAS can we include traits?

We could, speaking of which, I wish we could choose whether our sims had hidden traits or not, their alma mater and their life state i.e. normal, vampire, mummy, simbot. Especially simbots, due to the difficulty in obtaining them, it is very hard to incorporate them into a story.

VampirePlasma, you can get the pale skin color like Snow White. All you have to do is take the pink based skin tone and slide it all the way to the very beginning. I want superhero capes in CAS too. ;D

Also for the hair highlights: I think the color highlights should have a choice: One streak of color, default, or subtle/sun-kissed style highlights.

I totally agree, at least one sim per household could be already a vampire, simbot, or mummy.
