On the top right of every post in facebook, there's a down-arrow button, that opens a little menu of options. If you click it on any Sim Social post, it will say "Hide all from Sims Social". Hit that and you'll never hear of it again. ;D

Yeah, I've become pretty lax about posting Sim Social stuff because I figure if any of my friends didn't want to see it they'd have clicked on that "I never want to see this again" button by now. :P

It is really weird. I haven't made a Sims social account, though apparently I have one, according to my Hotmail inbox in which I've found a Welcome to Sims Social email. How did this happen? I've also won 500 simoleons to use in the game right from the start, without doing anything.
So, I'm wondering, if I haven't made that account, and I haven't, who did it? I highly doubt it that someone can make a account with the use of my email Adrea without me having to accept anything.

I still play from time to time. I'm getting annoyed with the challenges requiring me to buy stuff. My sim coins don't seem to be getting earned fast enough. Be nice if they could get jobs or something. Not to mention I can't seem to get my lot expanded. Also because of lack of funds.

Anyway, I have sent you a request.

@ Leto, I thought you were playing? Do you have Sims3 official site Liked? I got an email from them before I heard about it on here also but I assumed it was because I have a Sims3.com account. I wish I didn't delete it because I didn't even pay attention to the sender. Did you take a look at the sender? Is it FB or Sims3?

Hmm, now you're bringing this to my attention it was indeed send from The Sims 3. But another one did came from Facebook. Does this make any difference?

Well, the one from The Sims 3 would be a promotional email, whereas the one from Facebook would be an email about the Sims Social. Does that make sense?
With the one about the Sims Social, it would've only emailed you if you had gone into the Sims Social game, and clicked "Allow" on the game's permission request (requesting permission to access your wall, profile, email address, and other things online games typically need), even if you had quit when the page was loading.

Leto I thought when this thread started you went in there and took a peek at it? Am I incorrect? I remember you saying you weren't really into it but I may have assumed that you checked it out first. Well anyway, it is possible it was sent to you by the Sims 3 official page. You did hit like for the official page right?

If you still are not interested in TSS, you can go manage your apps and remove Sims Social. That way you shouldn't get anything else from them. If you still have issues send me a note on FB. I can get it from my cell faster than PM from here.

Now to fuss about the game. I am getting a bit irritated with those challenges. I have chosen to leave TSS alone for awhile and focus on my TS3 Pets. At least until I can figure out a way to earn more money using less energy.

Thanks for willing to help me out. Can you pm me your username from Facebook? I have a lot of people from here in my list over there and I am not certain if you're in it or not. If so, I probably won't recognize your nickname if that one differs too much from your nickname over here.

Ok so I was messing around on facebook while watching the game and I was getting bored so I just thought I'd go into the TSS. Man I have been going back in it almost everyday. I am back into it for the same reason I was in the beginning... It's quick and I can still do other stuff on my computer. I guess I'm liking it all over again. But this too shall pass.
