I just tried playing and it was so slow and sluggish, I finally had to give up.  I guess the number of people that play SS, has already bypassed Farmtown and look how long that game has been on FB. :)

@AriaGirl: for as far as I 'know' this game, which I don't, I thought you could add the members from here as friends. I assume there are a lot of them. Perhaps you Sims Social players should startup a seperate topic including every members nickname from here and nickname from the Sims Social so you have easy access to them.

The problem with that is that in order to play SS with people on here you have to become FB friends, and due to privacy issues I don't think that people should post their rl names on here just for the purpose of playing SS.

I just sent you a friend request to playing SS on Facebook.  I usually play it at least once in the evening and I try real hard to answer all request ;D.

Definitely keep your own safety and privacy in mind before agreeing to play with other people.  I always advise caution when using your real name.  You just never know what some people will do.  And remember, anyone on the internet can read this Forum, not just our members.

I don't play sims social, but I totally agree with this statement.

I'm really not comfortable with posting my real name here, even though I do trust you guys. The farthest that I will go is putting my first name in some PMs.

Just ran into a snag on SS while trying to move some things around in my house.  I'm trying to move a room, and every time I click on it the game freezes and I have to restart the app.  Any idea what's going on?  The only thing I can think of that might cause this is that there's an item in the room that's being "built".  Is that why I can't move it?  It's really strange because I did move it once in order to make some space but once I was ready to put it where I really want it, I can't.   >:(

Is the room on purchased land or un-purchased land?  There are some tips posted on Facebook under 'The Sims Social Freebies' Known Issues and Solutions which I think you can find here

Hope this helps you ;).

Guys, I will ask you again friendly to not send me Sims Social invitations on Facebook. I'm not interested in that game at this moment and I'm not sure if I will be.
If I ever want to dive in the game all you 'spammers' will be the first to know. ;)

Leto, there is a bar/banner at the bottom of the game and it has you listed as 'Playing'.  I removed you from my list but it still shows you there.

I promise to try very, very hard not to click on your picture asking you to play until you are ready.  Please forgive me though if I forget ::).

I finally had to quit playing SS.  Either my computer does not like the game or there is so many people on there, that I just cannot play.  It is so slow, it is not enjoyable anymore.  I really liked it, but it just does not play well.

Sorry Leto!  I keep seeing your smiling face on there and I feel this need to click it!  I'll try to remember and restrain myself. :)

At the bottom of the Facebook page I only saw this: The Sims Social · Report/Contact this App · English (US) About · Advertising · Create a Page · Developers · Careers · Privacy · Terms · Help.

I didn't saw any word like 'banner' or 'ban' anywhere on that page. Is there another way to make that I don't get invitations for this game anymore? It is really starting to annoy me now.

When someone sends you an invitation or request of some kind, there should be a button around the post to allow you to never receive messages from Sims Social again.

Around the post? I actually never saw that original post, because I got send directly to the SC account when I clicked it.
But well okey, when the next 'victim' is in my inbox I'll be waiting... I'll be waiting...
