Leto, if that was for me, then I do know that there are lists explaining hidden traits, but on modding sites. I'm still very curious, so please do. ;)

Did you mean Pam or TheChronicR? I haven't posted here, or even commented on Hidden Traits.

Haha, I was confused, right, I mean Chronic, indeed not you. Probably I was confused because I've just messaged you back before this or because of to much... nectar (;)) and less sleep.

Uh, I think the Rocker hidden trait gets passed down if one of the parent is a Rock Star, and the child, when grown up, rises quicker in the Music Career? I'm not too sure, but I think that's what it is.

Maybe, but in addition to unlocking the Air Guitar skill. And not exactly level 10 of the Rock branch [Rock Star], but high ranks of both branches.

Yes, that was for you. But this one is not modding (unles I'm mistaken) so here you are and here is where you should go. ;)

Thank you Leto. That's where I used to get my basic Sims information from. ;D And no, no worries, it isn't a modding site, just a guide like Carl's.

EDIT: Oh, whoops. It is actually. Has a few links. :-[

I used to have a child of a level 10 Musician who would randomly play air guitar.  I don't know whether that's got anything to do with the Rocker trait, though, or whether it's just one of those things Sims do when you leave them alone.

I think I can answer my own question here: the Salute interaction given to a teen at boarding school does NOT passed on to the next generation. The same did count with two parents maxed out in the firedepartment career. No pyro's.

Really? Such a disappointment.

Have to disagree with the last part, though. Children of a level 9 (or higher) Firefighter have the chance to either get Immune to Fire hidden trait or the Pyromaniac hidden trait. They must have gotten Immune to Fire in your case, it's totally random. ;)

Let's hope it, not try it. :P How can I tell?
But from the salute option is quit logical now I think about it. It's not that the mother got the trait through reaching to level 10 of a career. So perhaps I should just breed more. :)
