Boarding School teen still at home
« on: June 20, 2011, 03:05:28 PM »
I have a teen who I've send to Boarding School at her child age and her teenage age. But since the day her parents where married she returned home without any intention to continue her study. She also doesn't go to school in the town she lives (Riverview) so all I could do was teaching her herself the skills I wanted her to have.
Is this some kind of bug, or is it normal that teenage sims skip education halfway their teenage lifes?

Hmmm... calculated to human age I think she must have skipped school around the age of 14/15. Bey bey future. :(

Wow. Thats yet another bug that came out with Generations :P. My suggestion: Remove the teen from boarding school and the re-enroll the sim back into boarding school.

Ai, just too late. My teeny teen just grown up to a beautifull young woman so education is out of the question.
But yeah, it would probably the solution you've mentioned. Strange I haven't thought about that myself though.

Were you able to choose her trait when she aged to Young Adult?

Yes. That was possible, but she didn't get any reward or so from leaving her education. And those extra skills she would have I could forget about.

I tried it yesterday night and I don't even get the option to remove him from boarding school. Maybe they'll pick him up monday? It's sunday on my game.

Could be. Did you've used the laptop/computer for it? You have to know that there could be a lot of options now, depending on the traits of your sim. So it also could be catagorized underneath the 'more...' option.
