Honor roll changes since generations?
« on: June 18, 2011, 01:23:19 PM »
Since I installed generations I can't seem to get my children on honor roll any longer.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong or something.

Has anybody experienced the same?

When your children go to school do you click the 'work hard' interation?
Have you changed how long the child will be a child for?
My sim child normaly gets the honor roll 3 days after getting an A.  :-\

Yeah it seems harder to get the children on the honor roll because they only get five school days (on normal).  Without tutoring it takes mine 3-4 days to get an A and that doesn't leave enough school days to make the honor roll.  Even with working hard their grades don't go up fast enough.  So for the decadynasty I am having to tutor them to get them at least to a B then work hard gets them to an A the next day.

Child or Teen?  My teens have no trouble, just the Children on Normal lifespan run out of time since they only go to school 5 days before aging up.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. My sim has had an A for 4 days now and she's still not in the honor roll. No idea about teens though, the only teens I've played with were sent to boarding school.

Mine is a child, I have edited the settings so children in my game are children for 100days before aging up to teens.
She is now 30days into it.
However I just remembered that I did skip school alot in the first week to play with her imaginary friend and so was like a grade D?
Then though once she actually started going to school and doing homework it didn't take long to get an A than after having an A for I think 3 school days she got on the honor roll and she has kept getting an A which keeps her on the honor roll.
