Loser trait not spared by Reaper
« on: January 24, 2010, 06:37:25 AM »
According to Pam, Losers are not spared by the Grim Reaper as Unlucky sims are.
They can thus die of other reasons than by old age, contradicting what is written about Losers here (i.e. what is presently written in the guide is wrong):

Really? Interesting.
I could've sworn it was the losers who got to live, either way, most of the time Losers end up with the Unlucky trait...
does anyone else find it ironic that unlucky people get lucky enough to live through a near death expirence but in any other part they just fail at life?
haha Just thought I'd point that out.

Ha, ha, ha! Not if you consider that every time my sims die besides old age I wanted them to! They're so unlucky that they aren't allowed to take suicide! :D

Us Sim killers do exist, oh yes. Read my Emperor of Evil lifetime wish walkthrough ;) Anyway, I did fix this in the guide just now.

In doing Emperor of Evil, I had one victim who left no urn or tombstone. I wonder if he was unlucky and didn't really die, and was just teleported off my lot after the reaper came. It's been too long now to even go back and have a look, a pity.

Hey, I think every sane person in the world would rather you take your anger out on sims and try to kill them, instead of taking it all out on people! :D

Well, that's not even half as horrible than when I had Sims 2 with OB. I turned killing townies into a business: I always focused on getting one person very pleased with my shop to get customer loyalty.

However, the ones I had to ignore was killed of on literally an industrial scale! I designed small lockable fire rooms specifically desinged for the quick in, quick out principle. Could "advertise" away >10 townies a day! If they die, they can't tell their friends what horrible shop I have, right?

Haha thats a good deal, I wish I could try that, I have all the sims 2 games its just after playing the sims 3 for a long time, I just can't bare to stand going back to sims 2. Something just annoys me about sims 2 that sims 3 fixed.
