"Dream About" Interaction

When I was loading my game, I saw a hint saying something like "Children and teens dream about many things! Use the 'Dream About' Interaction to"
That's all I managed to read before the game loaded another hint.
Anyone else seen the hint or interaction?

I read somewhere that if you click on a bed while you are sleeping you will have the option to dream about skipping school, going on a date, and other stuff like that.

Yes, that is right. They can have two types of dreams: nightmares and, well, good dreams. Both give moodlets - +15/-15. If the dream comes true aka the event they dreamed about happens, they get a positive moodlet - Dream Came True. Pretty neat.

Huh. When I tried that, they could dream about being a princess, and astronaut or a dinosaur.

Click on the bed to get the dream options.

Children can dream about being an astronaut, being a dinosaur or being a price/princess.

Teens can dream about being valedictorian, being prom king or queen, skipping school or going on a date.

My sim dreamt about being prom king just a few hours before the prom, where he was announced the Prom King. It gave me a total of + 30 moodlets.

My teen dreamed of being a valedictorian but it was a nightmare and even with that, she did become a valedictorian, and her sister dreamed about being Prom Queen, it was a good dream but it didn't come true. Ironic.

Sims can become Valedictorians? How?

Is "Dream About..." a Generations option?  I have only the base game, no EPs/SPs or CC, and every time I click on the bed (or the kid in the bed) I only get Daydream, Sleep or Nap.  Doesn't matter if they are awake or asleep.  As a matter of fact, I can't recall ever having seen the "Dream About..." hint.  Is this yet another feature to which I don't have access?

In that case I will move this topic to the Generations section. You see Simstar, because this dream option was added with Generations, it should be included in the Generations section, not in General discussion.
I wasn't even aware of that you now can sort of manage the dreams of your childs and teens. That's so awesome!

But... I sometimes also dream about dinosaurs and things like that, eventhough I'm 25. Does that represents the inner child in me?

A Valedictorian is the student who has the highest grade point average in their class in 8th grade (or at least thats how they do it here). I remember my sister got it in 8th grade.

No you can get Valedictorian in high school and college too for highest grade point average. Usually if awarded it, they get to give a speech to the entire graduating class.

I used to have no idea what a valedictorion was, but now I know.
Leto, a valedictorian is a senior student who got the highest grades and highest grade point average, valedictorions also wear a little something special on their graduation gown, and say a speech. Colleges also have a valedictorion, and its the same thing.
Ironically all of my sims that are based off of me when I was younger, have become the valedictorion.

My sims always have nightmares, even when they dream about being royal or skipping school. I thought that they'd get a good moodlet from that. I feel like my sims are cursed when they dream
