Sleeping Elixir & Meditative Trance Sleep?

Has anyone tried the new sleeping elixir in combination with the meditative trance sleep LTR from WA? If so, how long is the sleep of an average sim (no heavy or light sleeper traits) in a top quality bed using both the potion and the LTR?

Actually, I think the sleeper potion is supposed to put you to sleep. In other words, a Prank potion!

No it doesn't, I've tested it and it does not make a sim sleepy! It is definitely similar to meditative trance sleep, but much better! I just can't test it with meditative trance sleep right now because my best friend has most of my disks atm, including World Adventures. I think I'm getting them back tomorrow, although she has the memory of a goldfish so...

Sleeping potion makes the "Energy" need shoot up in very very short time... Getting a whole night sleep in about 5-6hrs (more or less)  Personally I'm not a big fan of meditative sleep LTR

It may not seem like much of a help, but if a sim is immortal through ambrosia, life fruit nectar, young again potions or even just aging off, the extra time really adds up to more playtime.

In my game the potion allows a full night's sleep in about 3 1/2 hours in a top bed. Meditative Trance Sleep seen to short it up for about 1/2 hour, so I'd spend my points in something else.

By the way, the potion doesn't seen to work with vampire's "coffins".

Yeah, it will work for vampires but you cant use the stone slab thingy.  I personally use a hover bed.

Hadn't tested the potion; but, now I will if it helps give you productive time.
