I started with an okay line up in my Legacy!  ;) The ugliest was Wu (Chinese Townie) and her son Barney (Spare).

Think I'll have to create a sim with a big long nose, long chin and see how far down the line the big features go. Just try to marry sims with small features.

I've noticed Genetics play on my sim's looks, and it's never for the better.  :-\ My poor Sim's son Cory got his mother's squinty eyes and his father's high cheek bones, so he looks perpetually miserable, and like a girl.   :( His poor sister's worse off though, she somehow got the nose of Shrek, but the sad-face-ness too.

The genetics would be interesting if people inherited the 'fat' gene, since there's conditions like that in life. I've also gotten the most gorgeous hair colors from the kids of my sims. They're usually beautiful browns or dark blonde colors. I should take a few screen shots of 'em.

Weight is genetic in the game.  I've played around with this some.  The child will have a tendency toward the body type of the parents at the time of conception.  I had heavy parents give birth to heavy kids.  Then I had both of them slim down and have another child.  She turned out trim.  We have a thread about weight observations if you want to discuss it in more detail.  Click here.
