Never Nude Trait

I have never played a Sim with the Never Nude trait as it seemed a bit of a waste of time, but I was wondering if anyone here has?
If you have, what does being 'Never Nude' actually entail? Are they reluctant to woohoo? shower?

I believe Gobias Koffie (or something like that) has the never-nude trait. It's almost useless and only interesting for storytelling. They do everything normal sims do like bathing, showering woo-hoo, but they always keep their swimsuit on. So you will acually see someone showering in his swimming trunks!

It's an extremely blatant reference to the best show in the world, Arrested Development, in which Tobias Funke has a disorder called Never-Nude where he must always be wearing jean cutoffs. In his words, "There are dozens of us".

Okay, don't pick this trait for anything that you're serious about doing. It's a waste. In my legacy, one of my people got that trait, and nothing interesting happens, they just shower and bathe in their swimsuit. It is utterly useless.

I am also under the impression that this does practically nothing really...But then you can debate how much influence traits actually have in the long run, so it could be fun animations and such for storytelling, or maybe a funny sim if combined with insane and inappropriate.

But this trait influences absolutely nothing! Not skilling, not Lifetime Happiness points, not work performance, nothing at all even in the long run!

It's true that this trait doesn't influence anything as far as I can tell.  But I'm sure there are some people who like to see their Sims do silly things.  And when playing many legacy challenges, you're not allowed to choose the traits of the children.  If they roll the Never Nude trait, it can be rather amusing.

True, but for anything other than a legacy, it's a complete waste of a slot since the actions lose their, uh, "appeal" after you see it a couple of times.

I've checked this. It has no effect whatsoever.

Gobias Koffi has that trait. All it means is that a Sim will never take their clothes off ever except in the shower. They will shower and bathe in their swimsuits. That's all "never nude" really means.

You're right Pam, they won't skinny dip. Sims with the Shy trait can't skinny dip either. I read it on the official forums.
