But Pam, why haven't Carl changed this in his guide if that is the case? If you are certain, then maybe someone should post among the corrections saying it should get fixed.

To my knowledge, the guide has been corrected.  If I'm mistaken, please post a link to the error.  Thanks!

Pam, shouldn't I post this among the corrections, so Carl can find it easier?

Yes, please.  Go ahead and post it on the corrections board.  I'll also send Carl a note that it needs to be fixed.  Thanks for catching that!  :)

You never waste a trait on anyone (except unlucky, they're such outcasts), all sims should have their own personality (given that kleptomaniac is a given one).
Well, depending on how you look at it (there have been a couple threads about this debate) Never Nude is truly the stupidest trait for affect on gameplay.

If you have a sim with the disciplined trait you will hit lv 5 soon enough to zeneport to the island with the rare grapes.

Why would you waste a trait on disciplined?

I don't even know why anyone would waste their time on the rare grapes in the first place.

Because, other than Green Thumb, no other trait increases nectar value in any way;
But i can't answer the second question T_T

I was reading this over and over, but still it looks for me as if the persons in the posts I am posting on are saying that the disciplined trait will increase the nectar value. Does being disciplined have an factor on that? I found that really strange.

No it doesn't, but it allows you to access the island in France without Pangu's axe faster since it will let you get zeneport faster. That island in famous for its rare grapes and as such will help you get better nectar faster.

Ah so. That makes a lot of sense to me. I was thinking of the fact that the meditative moodlet would make learning skills faster also will affect the value of nectar making, but that isn't true. In fact, the zeneport way of transporting was my favorite one, when I failed solving quests.

Yes, I started learning martial arts on it.

My Sim didn't have time to get to skill level 5 with it before returning home, however - he had been busy doing adventures and found this while trying to figure out why the museum guards kept abandoning their posts.

Lol someone should fire the guards for leaving their post all the time. :P Unless they were going for you?

You know with the Klepto trait can you steal stuff in the tombs and such on vacations?

Also I just thought of that during your vacation in France you can get items for free for training martial arts, the stuff for nector making, everything that you need to live at your house in one vacation. Lets see 3 items per night so that would be 2 items for martial arts training, 1 nector making machine fir the first night. Second night would be a couple of racks and a fridge. finally the last night would be a bed, bath/shower and a stove. You got most of your basics living stuff plus stuff for your martial arts and nector making. If you don't want martial arts stuff you can always get a couple counters or something else you want.

This was changed awhile ago and you can no longer steal most things that you could when the game first came out. Have you done recent testing on this?

Nope that's why I was asking. Actually I have never used that trait but thinking of getting some twins in my family and one be a thief while the other is a cop. Once I get home from work I'll do testing on that with a new game to test it out unless someone beats me to it.
