Gifts Given to NPC's

When one of my YA sims moved out, I forgot to put his memento's from the prom and his trophies in his inventory. If I give them to him as gifts, will they just disappear, or be in his inventory when I switch to his household?

Hi Simstar. After what I know, inventories of the sim moving out will transfer content to the next sim on your active households inventory.

Why not just move him back into your household through edit town or add him back into your household, long enough to place his trophy's and such into his inventory, and then go back to edit town and put him back to where he moved when he left your household? I've done this many times with my Sims. I let them take their skill certificates and most of the stuff they collected while in my household. When I take possession back of that Sim, their stuff was still in their inventory's. Hope this helps

I'm sorry if this question's been answered, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm a newb, and I accidentally gave a Mysterious Mr. Gnome to my NPC celebrity girlfriend as a gift. She loved it, of course, but is it gone or is it in her inventory?

First off Welcome to the fourm , second it's most likely gone into her inventory and if you move in with her or marry her then she should still have it in her inventory.
