Happy birthday Nessie!
I love the remodel, it's so... I don't know.... Renesmee?!?  ;)

Indeed it is. ;) Thanks, TallStar!

Yay! You're back, Fez, with a brand new chapter!  That remodel looks really nice and I'm glad that you're back on! ;D

Thank you, Bekka! ;D

So I finally went through all of the house remodel, great job there ! waiting eagerly for the next chapter, Mel's dress is awesome :D

Thanks, Kiko! That means so much, especially coming from you - I saw the McArthur Estate and fell in love, you're such an amazing builder! :D Are you speaking about Mel's formal? I do love that outfit! :P She's a YA in my game now, though, so she has something different lol.

I will try and get up TWO chapters this weekend. I always feel really ashamed because other forumers update their stories so quickly and multiple times a week, etc. and my chapters come so occasionally! I also know that because my legacy is very long-scale there's a lot of detail and it can be hard to keep up with so.. Every thirty chapters I shall post a checkpoint thing (like Samoht04 did with his Character Legacy) so you can all keep up, and also if any new readers would like to check out my legacy without having to wade through so much chapters! xD

Chapter 28 - Egyptian Endeavours (Part I)

Lori
I'm trying to supermax painting and while I was at it I painted this!

It was so good that I got a call from someone in Egypt who wanted to buy it! I'm so excited, I've never been on a vacation before! I decided to take Taylor too, as a sort-of (very late!) honeymoon. Nessie was left to look after the teens and off set Taylor and I for a gloriously romantic three days in the scorching desert...

Taylor set the romantic mood right away by giving me some flowers. My favourite colour, too!

Time to deliver the painting...

Taylor had been quite enthralled by Ben's French adventures, so he felt like trying some of his own..

He got one asking him to work for a company called MorcuCorp, and first he had to find some papers in the Tomb of Discovery.. I went with him. It was a gruelling and scary time full of mystery, fear and danger....

Erm.. well, he had to comfort me!

We found the papers and Taylor reported back to his boss, while I did some socialising of my own... with a snake!

The next day, Taylor was asked to question some locals about MorcuCorp and he learned some Egyptian songs while he did!

Mmm... Taylor.. singing.... swoon....

Ahem anyways, Taylor got sent to the Tomb of the Burning Sands to collect some Flame Fruit..

Taylor did lots of brave and manly and courageous things in that tomb...
Unlocking secret doors..

Exploring dangerous dive wells..

Pushing heavy statues..

and finding Flame Fruit, while I make friends.

Taylor says it was extremely hot in that tomb, but I don't think it was the tomb... ;)

Once Taylor had finished his tomb-raiding, he met up with me and we had a romantic swim in the fountain at the Market.. We got some strange looks, but we were too busy gazing at each other to care!

We swam for so long that we each gained a skill point in Athletics!

But Taylor had to get on with his (very, very, very, very, very long!) adventure. This time he had to go and raid someone's own private ancient library!

Then he had to go and fetch two pieces of mummitorium.. Taylor, have you forgotten that this is supposed to be our honeymoon?!?

I'm getting more kisses from the snake in that basket......

Taylor did manage to stop by the Base Camp and hand me some flowers, though. I have a growing collection! He scurried off to deliver the mummitorium, after that.

We now have so much ancient coins that Taylor got to buy everything available to sims with no Visa level. Seems Taylor had to use that Liquid Courage pretty soon after, though.. Not so brave now, is he? ;)

It was that bug trap that did it.. I know, because I was right there in that next tomb with him!

Well, if Taylor wants to tomb-raid on our Honeymoon then he'll tomb-raid with me!

That up there is my favourite part, opening those treasure chests! See the expressions I make?..

Err.. no the one on the left is not me being scared.. It's me being, err.. excited! Of course it is..

Finally, Taylor deposited the mummitorium into the chest at the MorcuCorp HQ, as a bribe.. (It turned out that MorcuCorp are actually evil, and now Taylor is working against them!)

Taylor found the first relic he needed and earned Visa Level 1!

..But it was finished, now. No, not the adventure, our honeymoon! Taylor had to still find the remaining two relics so it looks like we'll be coming back.. I think I'll let Taylor narrate his way through the tombs next time, then! I'll leave you with a picture of our kiss as midnight struck and we left Al Simhara..

Thanks Kiko! Shh, it was Taylor! ;) I am updating with the next chapter tomorrow. :)

Drawer 5 of the Dreamer's Closet is now up on the Swap Shop and I have updated the Family Tree.

Good news for all you Mel-and-Annalie lovers out there - the girls will be up on the Swap Shop tomorrow! I suppose that gives you a clue for what the chapter will be about... ;)

The honeymoon/adventure was just beautiful! Also, Lori's top in Drawer 5 is actually Outdoor Living, not Ambitions.

Chapter 29 - Melissa: Older and Even Better!

Melissa
Guess who's birthday it is? Clue: The best Dreamer there ever was in the history of Sunset Valley ever, ever, ever!

No, not Annalie!  >:( Me!

To celebrate the day of my birthday, I called Nick a loser.

I'm not quite sure what Annalie is doing on that picture on the right but whatever it is, it looks stupid!

Annalie is older than me so her birthday went first. I'm pretending to be happy here but I'm not really. I'm just pretending to be so she can get it over and done with and we can move on to the reason we are all here - me!

Here is my birthday. I look so much better and stylish than my sister, don't you think?

Here is what we look like as young adults. Ignore Annalie on the left.

I cut my hair so everyone could see my beautiful face! Like it? I do!

Here is my beautiful wardrobe. I'm the most fashionable sim around!

...You don't really want to see Annalie's, do you?

Eww...

This is my Mum and Dad 'dancing'. Honestly, how embarrassing! And does Mum actually think that skirt looks good on her?

Whatever.. I won't complain too much because, after all, they did get me a car! And Annalie... but Annalie's is pathetic. Who'd want to be seen in that?!?

Both Annalie and I have already picked our lifetime wishes. She wants to reach the boring ninth level of the boring science career, so she's off to the boring science centre..

I have a much better career in mind.. to the warehouse I go! And to begin my thieving career...

I graduated, too!
Miss Ugly got Highest Honour, was Class Valedictorian and was voted Most Likely to Fulfil her LTW! That's because it's easy. Anyone can be a silly scientist, but it takes real brains to be a thief.

I got Highest Honour and was voted Most Likely to Offend Others, which is a good thing, no matter what Mum says. I cried of happiness, must be my new over-emotional trait! (Although if you ask me, which you do because my opinion matters the most, if there was a reward for 'Best Sim EVER' I would definitely get that instead.)

I suppose I have to tell you about what Renesmee got up to these past few days...
Well, she finally maxed athletics. Sheesh, I finished that years ago!

The Loch Ness Monster also went to buy some venues around Sunset Valley. Both her and Mum got two each. Mum got the Sunset Institute of Modern Art (Now Lori's House of Modern Art) and the Little Corsican Bistro (Now Lori D's Lovely Bistro). Idiot Nessie got the 28-Hour Wellness Gym (Now Nessie's Fitness Room) and the Divasidero Budget Book Store (Now Renesmee Dreamer's Book Lounge). Everything was upgraded to the top levels and the Landgraabs and Altos are extremely jealous of us... That's good, but still bad because I don't own anything!  >:(

Renesmee visited Waylon's Haunt because she got a celebrity opportunity there to try some silly drink. Ugh, I hate Waylon's Haunt, anyways...

Then she went to the stupid Prosper Room! Honestly, everyone knows that place is for snobs only!

The next night, Ben got accused of peeing himself in public (ha!) and went off to City Hall to sue for slander. He won the case and Nessie, still in her formal wear, made her way there to congratulate him. She bumped into this guy. I don't know who he is, but Nessie says he's linked to Max or something.. Gosh, are we still banging on about that idiot?

Anyways, it's clear that she's crushing on him but she isn't doing much about it, is she? I mean seriously... friendly hugs? Talking about work? You're supposed to kiss guys, not make friends with them! Meh, well that guy probably wouldn't want her anyways.. Here's me pillow fighting with Nick's ex, Jebediah. See? I'm so hot that Jeb dumped Nick for me!

Here's Renesmee doing work-related things, questioning people and whatnot. Ha, if only she knew there's a criminal in her own household!

See that? That's Renesmee writing! She spent so long on that report that she got to level three! (Well, it was to do with her reading so many books as a toddler..) Ugh. Well, as everyone knows, I'm the real author in the family. My book, Melissa Dreamer is Amazing, has been bought by a whole eight people! And I maxed the skill.. Ha! Here's me writing my next hit. I called it Why you Should Never Trust Renesmee Dreamer..

Well, now I'm tired after all this writing! I'm off for a relaxing bubble bath and then off to bed... Bye!
