The Physician is tasked to "examine the second ailing peasant".
Where do I find this person?
I have tried just about everyone I have seen. Also tried the operating table several times.

any ideas?

Welcome to the forum, Wilderful.

Usually the ailing peasants will turn up at the clinic, although sometimes you may have to wait for them to appear.  Have you tried going to map view to see if there's a sim with a marker?  With some quests, the sims you're looking for will congregate in the village square.  I can't remember if that ever happened with this particular quest.

Thanks for the response. I don't know ... I have clicked on and diagnosed both ailing peseants (Jarvis and Elsbeth) and also performed sucessful operations on both ..... still not clearing the quest task.
I have also looked for "Sim Markers" to no avail.

I'll have one more go at it, then probably restart the quest from a previous save.

Sometimes the ailing peasants take a while to turn up.  I guess they live in the village.  I remember getting a bit panicky with this quest too but my second ailing patient finally turned up sometime in the afternoon on the second or third day.
