Kids with party hats on?
« on: June 07, 2011, 12:23:25 PM »
Hi, I've seen some pictures on other sims sites of a sim child standing on a chair with a party sorta hat on with a stick?

How do you do that?

Thanks.

Click on a chair and choose "Preside Over Royal Court".

Are you referring to when children dress up as a “King or Queen” and act like they are reigning over their subjects?

It seems to be automatic in my games.  I hear some music and the boy stands on a chair with a crown on and holding a scepter.  He is also wearing a different shirt with a breast-plate.  He waves the scepter around, claps his hands and basically acts like a King in Sims Medieval ;).

My child also has a moodlet for being 'King for a Day' but I didn't look to see how long it lasted.  I haven't played any girl children yet so I am not sure how they look.

So that is how it is done.  Thanks Simstar.

Like I said, it has been automatic in my game so far.  I can't wait until tonight when my girls age up to see what they look like and how they act.

They look pretty much the same as boys.

That's very automatic for me too. It might be the most autonomously used make believe interaction among the children. On all genders, the moodlet lasts for about four hours, and for the girls, they're queen for the day.
