Furnish mode - how to put down a tent

Hi there,

I have searched the forums, and no one seems to have mentioned this before.
I would love to decorate my town with a tent or two, but I can only select a tent when in Furnish mode.
Then, when in Furnish mode, I can only put items into a building. Not onto grass outside, or anywhere else for that matter.

Does any one know how to put down a tent?

I was able to place a tent in the training yard (as a knight who's married to the queen if that makes a difference), but that's the only place I've been able to place one so far. I would like to place tents (and outdoor cooking areas) around my kingdom so my Sims can camp out at the beach or in the forest, too.

Just a guess and a vague memory of seeing it somewhere but I think you can do it using 'moveobjects on'.
