I'm not sure if this is worth a thread, but I thought we could say which new objects we like the most? I am crying over the new shelves. I mean, shelves! *tear* No more trying to fit my sims' nick-nacks on fireplaces, coffee tables, dressers. It's wonderful!

I agree, pally, the new shelves are cool.
I really like the art-deco style kid's bedroom decorations. They are so cute! Actually, I love all the new children's stuff! ;)

Oh, wow! Can you PLEASE upload pictures about those shelves? And if you can, would you please do it as well?
And if you do, would you please do it here? I really like to see those.

Here you go Leto, I think these are the only ones -

I couldn't get more than one per Wall Space so you may have to use Move Objects to get them under each other. You can raise/lower them like Paintings.

EDIT: While I'm there I got the BuyDebug Items that I could see, these all had the Generations Icon:

Thanks so much for the pictures samoht! Shelves are gonna be awesome. I'm also interested in that delightfully surreal painting with the bear and the cupcake tree, in real life if possible.  :)

No Problem Ausette, I thought that painting was odd as well, I don't know how you get it normally in the game, it must be something to do with Kids? Maybe a Day Care Reward? Theres a Day Care Car as well which was the one at the back.

Very nice pictures Samoht. Thank you. I like to see that floating bed too. Naga has told us about it. How much energy does it provide: 10? And how is it's comfort rating? I think this bed will replace all my beds in the mansion. So cool.

Plus they get a positive moodlet when they woohoo in the hover bed, which I thought was pretty cool. :)

Ausette, I just got that Painting in my Dynasty! My Spare Twin (Not Immortal) is in the Arts Club After School and got an Opportunity to do some Art Marathon Competition at the School, she Won and got the Painting as a Reward.  :)

EDIT To add:

I got the Football Shirt top Right on the Wall with my Heir Twin who is in the Sports Club and took the Sports Opportunity. Ahg I forgot the name and I needed it for her Dynasty Opps!  :D

I also got the Molecule Statue (Left of the Wall at Back, Blueish) from the Science Trip.

I'm really loving the stroller. It's such a little thing, but it feels like a very normal action. Parents walk with their kids in strollers all the time and it's really cute the way the kids talk the whole way.

Welcome to the Forum, ficklemuse!
I love the pram (i.e stroller) too. It makes the game that little bit more realistic. :)

I really love the Tyrannosaur head you can hang on the wall. It's the most beautifull decorative item I have seen in The Sims 3 as a buy object. I love dinosaurs so this thing goes straight ahead in my living room! :D

I love the stroller, specially the fact that going for a stroll fills the social bar, even for babies :-) much nicer than my usual queue of interactions to try and fill that meter!

two words - BUNK BEDS!

I was excited to hear spiral staircases were back but over the moon with the bunk beds!  Love the shelves (prom king and queen crowns sit nicely on them, as does trophies from after school activities!)  The T-Rex head is awesome!  the kids stuff are fun (costume chest for example)  bought the motive mobile (the blue Mystery Machine - need to get the Scooby gang back into play for this one!)

Don't know if anyone else has noticed you can now 'sort' your build and buy modes by expansion packs.  No more looking for that 'light that came with generations but can't find it with all the other lights'  you can just click the 'generations' marker and it only shows generation stuff (terrible at explaining.. the marker is the * shape on the right hand side of the buy inventory lists.)
