Driving Lessons
« on: June 03, 2011, 07:34:47 PM »
Has anyone else done Driving Lessons with their teens? It's hilarious! I would upload pictures but I'm way too blurry eyed right now! The Teen is swerving the car all over the road and breaking randomly, it's just plain funny and realistic I guess but I've never driven ont he road before.  :P

On a more factual note, there are Three Levels in the Test, Once you get Level 3 you are done.

My teen is in the process.  She is 3 days from young adult and has just made level 2.  She and her dad end up with bottom level fun after a driving session.

It only took my Teen One Night to do it, although I did notice they got out the Car about a Mile from where it stopped sometimes. Maybe my Teen being an Honour Role Student makes it faster?

Actually, I'm taking a guess that that's you and bshag after packing for Vegas at :02 going 100 miles an hour and plowing through the slow car.

I'm doing the daycare profession, and have been teaching one of my kids who is now a teen to drive. How do you know how well they're doing if they are not your teen?

Its a shame they made the other cars go right through you instead of getting stuck behind you and honking their horns and then overtaking recklessly

WIsh I could watch the video, my Internet won't allow Videos lately, it's being really slow so I can't stream anything unless I let it load for like half an hour.  :-\

I expect you just keep doing it until maybe a Notification comes up? I think the Mother got a Memory for Teaching her and the Teen did for Learning.

Mine did that too, but that is when she had maxed the driving skill.  Then the dad got in the car and drove home and the teen took a cab, lol. :)

I have been. I've taken her driving twice. And, when I invite her over to drive, the game makes us a group. We'll drive for a while, then the game will make the car disappear, and we're both standing on some random corner. THe teen gets all frustrated, and a notification comes up fromthe teen saying that was the wrost group outing ever. I don't know what to do. Did I teach her? Or just have a poor group outing?

I remember reading somewhere that the teen would get a permit to hang on the wall once they reached level 3.  Has anyone gotten one of those?

Hmm, My Dynasty Heir just turned YA and rolled a Wish to teach her Fiance's Teen Brother how to Drive. I'll try doing that and see what I get as my results.

Yup, I got one in the post, it's not special and it looks like a Handiness Skill Certificate if I remember well.  :)
