Inviting multiple foreign visitors

I've find the option to ask multiple (up to visitors from foreign countries at the same time to stay at your home very practical to give the rest of the family the oppertunity to meet multiple new persons at the same time.
But the thing is, after calling and gotting multiple confirmations about 'sure we will get that at 9 am tomorrow' I'm started to worry around 11 am. Don't they have come over anymore or so?
I think this is a bug or something, because after another day still nobody has arived and I wasn't even able to ask another group of visitors, for the misirable reason that I've already invited them.

Yeah, well... invited or not. They still don't come over.
Any experience with this people?

It's a long time since I invited groups of foreign visitors.  Last time I tried, I had no problem.  But as I said, that was quite a while ago.  Is this problem new to your game, Leto?  Any idea when it started?  Is this a problem in all your games or just this one?

The one time I invited multiple foreign visitors, I invited them all at once by clicking on the cell phone, selecting Invite Foreign Visitors (I think that's what it says), and then picking all the Sims I wanted to invite from the drop down list. They all showed up the next morning just after 9am. I'm not sure if inviting them all at once this way makes a difference to inviting them all separately. It sounds like an odd bug, Leto. I've never had a foreign guest not show up before 10am.

Granted this was pre-Generations, it might be different now.

As two of my sims are camping in China right now I'm not sure if this bug has fixed after the newest update I've installed, but it may have when I get them back home. I will inform this here than.

@Schipperke: I remember having this problem before, but I didn't remember how I've solved it, if I've solved it. I'm not going to move or so, because I've noticed that will spawn me the awefull inventory bug which gives me a headache a week ago already.
If the bug still occured I can do as lilygirl said: inviting them one by one.

Or wait... I can't do that at all. That option is grayed out right now untill the other guest are leaving, which they can't if they aren't here.
Anyone know where they spawn after sending them invitations? Maybe they're just frozen somewhere.

Any that I've invited just suddenly appeared on the sidewalks near the home lot, the same as the townies that don't actually have a house in town.

This topic is making me realize how long I've been avoiding travel because of the various bugs I've had.  Maybe it's time to try again and see what happens.

Leto, have you tried phoning any of the foreign visitors you invited?  I'm wondering if you can call them, and if you have the option to invite them over like you would if they were actually in your town.

Problem solved!

It was either because my sims have traveld to China and back, or... it was solved after installing the newest patch. The problem has solved itself in making the option 'Invite foreign visitors' clickable again, so I've tried it once again, so now I have to wait for the visitors to come, or not.

Therefore I couldn't find it back! I was searching in the wrong board.

But well, the problem still occures it seems. Or it simply came back. It's 9:31 am (ingame) and no foreign visitor has visited my house. And ofcourse I can not invite new ones as well.
Hmm, this is so disapointing. I really like to have a lot of sims at my mansion.
