I'm curious, as to if they're going to offer Limited edition after the release? The reason why I ask, is because I'm way too impatient to go through with the pre-ordering.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but they did confirm new traits and LTW's on Sims Wiki.

Quote
New traits for Sims, confirmed, will be:
        Allergic to Fur
        Riding Skill (Horses)
        Animal Lover
        Dog Person
        Cat Person

New Lifetime Wishes for Sims will be:
        Ark Builder
        Get Unicorn
        Animal Rescue
        The Jockey
        The Researcher Fairy

Of course I'm a little bummed that EA didn't include "Crazy Cat Lady" as a LTW, but none the less, I already have a story about a Crazy Cat Lady in the works, all planted in my head, of course.  ;D

I love the LTW "Get Unicorn" though. Perfect for the Childish and the Insane.

I'm curious what "the Ark Builder" LTW would be.

That might be a reference to Noah's Arch.

Is Sims Wiki, uh, trustable?
Because Riding Skill as a trait? Highly unlikely. Because I read somewhere that it was Equastrian. ???

I read that the pets will now be controllable! Yay! My dog starved on TS2 since it wasn't smart enough to eat his food, even though the bowl was facing the right way.  ::)

It's Wikipedia that can't be trusted. I've never had a problem with Sims Wiki.

I think Wikipedia is pretty trustworthy.  It's my favorite site for reports.
Riding skill as a trait seems to be weird to me. I'm thinking they accidentally included it with traits and meant to put it under new skills.

If it can be edited by anyone then it shouldn't be classed as trustworthy. I'm really looking forward to Pets now, Lol. Gets better each time I hear something new!  :)

Why would riding skill be weird as a trait? It would be like being artistic, or a virtuoso, just to do with horses.

It could just be that they only know there will be a Trait for the Skill but don't know what it will be called?

I'm curious how this would work with city living like in Bridgeport. It would be nice to have stables where you can leave your horse if you live in a penthouse (like they have here in Paris). Also would the animals be able to take the elevators alone?

I assume that horses won't be able to enter ordinary buildings, without a proper stable door, but I would guess cats/dogs can use an elevator.

I wouldn't have a horse in a penthouse; but would love to have a place I could keep them. I was more concerned about cats and dogs.
