Pets are now official

I don't know for sure, but I thought I remembered reading something about pets being involved in careers.  Either the pets themselves doing a job, or a Sim being able to take a pet with them to work.  I think I remember reading about kitten minions.  But it might have been for the consul and not PC version.

Hmm....maybe I was wrong.  Looking over the official site and the gamestop site, neither mention it.  *shrugs*  Oh well.  Guess we will know for sure when the game comes out.

100% off topic, but I always thought it incredible that they stuffed Ralph Fiennes' nose into that costume.  He's got, like, the biggest nose in Hollywood and they chose him to be Voldemort.

On the pet job subject, I gave it a little more thought, and I do hope there are job-like opportunities for pets, but I do hope the real jobs for Fluffy have bitten the proverbial dust.

I'm excited that we can make a Persian Cat. That makes it ten times easier to Simify my adopted son.

What I hope to see in Pets is cats lounging and climbing on the kitchen table like Sims 2 Pets. Generally, Sims 2 was more interesting, but it seems like Pets is getting a complete 180 by upgrading to being better. I'm very excited to see the virtual world through my adopted son Polanco's eyes.

Another question about the limited edition: Will I be able to get it digitally after its release? I'm too impatient for a Pre-Order. I hope I can get some sort of get a SP free deal.

Sims 2 Pets, was fun...but I was sad that you couldn't control them! When I head that you could control your pets, and rushed to preorder it!

This thread is convincing me to scrap up $40 and pre-order Pets.
