I'm going to show this to my friend, who's worked in the extermination business for about 20 years. He should get a laugh out of it as he drives back to his $400,000 home that's already been paid off. A lot of words describe that business and the people who work in it, but poor, desperate, pitiful and pathetic are not included in that list. It's an industry of necessity, and those guys are never strapped for cash.I'm not exactly looking forward to pests again. I imagine there should be a nice glitch involving cockroaches where you can't get rid of them.
Roaches drove me nuts. Ugh! However, I think the exterminator might be useful in the event the player accepts the challenge from purchasing a cheap home in the beginning. At least they can get rid of the rats now. On the otherhand, already I'm digging the "Cat Person" trait option. Already, it's time for me and Pam to update our Simselves traits. (That didn't sound right) I'm guessing a cat lady might be in the new world included in the Expansion Pack. I have my future Sim planned out already.
I'm a cat person too. One thing, can pets run away? If not, awesome. If they can, I really don't think I want them. I've already lost my cat in rl, don't want to lose it in the sims too!
Awesome. I think the make needs static would go for them too right?
Small, cute ones (like Schipperkes, I'm told)
Ah, a person of discernment! Schipperkes are definitely the cutest dogs around. Ok, I'm a wee bit biased on this subject. They don't really look like any other breed. A lot of people think they look like small black wolves. I even had one guy stop his car one day and ask me if they were bears! They are fairly uncommon, these little black devils. But they're tops in my book. I hope there will be Schips in Pets. What I'd really like would be to have a Schipperke dog team, but I haven't heard anything about dog teams in this EP, sadly.
I assume you can 'form' your own dog in CAP and than name the breed.
I am far more of a dog person, because I just don't think cats are as affectionate. I read an article once about cats and how unaffectionate they really are and I've just been put off them.
