I think you're right though, Chronic. This info seems more like potential features more than official, confirmed aspects of the pack.

I hope those features will find their way into the EP for October. I find that many of them are really nice, much better than what I expected since I was rather a bit sceptic with the come back of Pets in the game. The Sims 2 Pets was the worst EP in my opinion, even if I love those fluffy devils in real life (I'm the happy butler of two cats at home). This new version seems much more interesting.

I've been finding that with every new EP and SP that arrives, I'm far more worried about the bugs it will cause than the new features it brings.

I was also quite sceptic at first, but that is one awesome list! I'll be waiting to see how it turns out before I get it, anyhow. Putting it on the first draft of my Christmas wish-list. Yes, I start my Christmas wish-list in July.

You know what I do before buying and EPs? I watch Let's Play The Sims 3: ----- in youTube, that gets me into buying everything.  

You could see what kind of breeds and options and ect, I reccomend doing that before buying. To see if you like it.

I did that with WA, Ambitions, and Late Night from HeadbuttArcade (he left youTube, I cried. ) and Generations from another one. That has gotten me to buy it, I'll do that with Pets too.

I'm going to pre-order it I know that already. I just won't install it until I've heard what new bugs are in it. If I can wait that long, due to the fact I love horses and unicorns lol.

Can Pets still die of natural causes in this Expansion Pack?

I'm glad were getting exterminator's back. I really miss those from Sims 2.

What's a exterminator? Something like terminator, but than different?
