Wait What? So those Pets are added to the 8 Household Sims Total? If that's right this just got less appealing...  

Yes, which is it?  Is the maximum household size going to be:  (a) 8 Sims + 6 pets; or (b) 2 Sims + 6 pets (or some other combination totalling eight?  Does anyone know for sure?

I am confused as well. I thought it was 8 plus the 6 pets... They didn't word it right so am confused.

No more than 10 sims/pets. No more than 8 Sims, no more than 6 pets.

Does that make sense? So if you have a dynasty, it'll be 8 Sims 2 pets, for a total of ten.

I think the new town is pretty, but I dearly wish they'd named it something else. Something easier to spell. I've seen so many references already to "Appallossa Plains" and such. I confess it makes my inner editor cringe a little.

But this town might actually make me stop setting everything in Sunset Valley, since to be honest I don't much care for the scenery of Twinbrook. Obviously you can't tell too much from a few screenshots, but it looks promising.

Hmm that kind of ruins it for me, I wanted a big family with lots of pets, I don't want to be restricted like that.  Ah well I guess it will have to do.

Remember that you can have as many small critters as you want, that might as well work out.

The console version looks interesting, too, what with your pets getting careers and being able to control your ghost-pet. But a new Zelda game is coming out in November, so I think just the PC version of Pets will have to do!

Yeah, I suppose but I do prefer big critters. I guess I should be gratefull really, I mean imagine the Specs for 8 Sims and 8 Animals...

Yikes! It really takes a long time loading with only like 7 sims, can't even imagine that.

That is an awesome video! I thought it was funny with the cat and dog, than the horse came over and my first thought was the horse was going to eat the kitty lol. Than the woman gets on the horse backwards, what's up with that haha? Also, ice cream trucks? Awesome my kids can now chase ice cream trucks!   And what's up with the cat tearing up the paper? Uh-oh I'm going to have to watch them like hawks hehe. And could anyone else see the reflection of a man on the screen around 6:40?   And than 2 men talking to each other? Lol I swear I'm watching the video but it's kind of hard not seeing the reflections haha. I see even horses can have memories lol. I loved the horse standing with it's 2 back legs in the trough haha. And horses sleep standing up?? I loved the dog playing ball in the park. Than digging a hole? Bad dog haha. That was a giant dinosaur statue around 15:14! I think it was a statue anyways, it wasn't moving. I like the pet cemetery around 16:20. Bone-shaped gravestones! I also thought it was hilarious that animals have plumbbob's over their heads when selected! All in all an awesome video, Thanks for sharing that VampirePlasma!

Right. I see... I am not to disappointed, actually. This was basically how it worked in The Sims 2, and that was fine.

That's good as well. I really hope that breeding and selling pets is possible. Has anything like that been confirmed already?
I'm getting pretty excited now!

EDIT- Thanks for the links, pallydrome! Very interesting, especially the amount of breeds (Over 100 for each species!).
