Cannot download the new patch

I load up the game launcher, and see if I can install the new patch. It says my game is currently up-to-date. I'm in the US, so the game has been released, but I can't download the patch. Do I need to download the Download Manager to get it?

I have the same problem here in Australia, Audren. Now that I think of it, my launcher doesn't seem to be able to handle the downloads manager, so perhaps that's what this is?

I simply don't have the download manager downloaded, and when I tried, I got an error. I'll try again in a few minutes.

EDIT: Now, I simply cannot download the download manager. When I hit refresh, it says "Unable to connect to EA Download Manager." I am also no longer getting the download pop-up asking me to download it that I normally get whenever I open the launcher. Is there a way to manually download a patch?

Yeah, I get that message too. Well, I had a quick look and this seems to be the official thread on the subject. I'm not sure if the link they provide for PC is for the patch though. By the sound of it, they're still ironing out some bugs.

Okay, thanks! I seem to remember from somewhere that the PC was having problems with the patch. I'll just wait it out, then.
