EA isn't letting me download Generations

I preorder Generations...and I clicked "install" and a message popped up and said that I had to update my game to the latest version, when I already have my game fully updated! Is there some way to fix this?

just go ahead and click yes it will update itself.

The game comes with an update thats why it's asking that.

Open your game with your launcher, and it should say there is an update to download. After you download the patch then download Generations.

But when I open the launcher it says my game is up to date!  ???

What is the patch version? Mine is 6.2.4.010001 (I have not downloaded the patch yet.)

I have the same thing. I went to that thread, and clicked the link for the manual patch and it's downloading it now. I'll let you know if it works.

EDIT: It's downloaded and installed. Getting ready to open the game.
