Base Game Updates
You can now collect Memories of significant moments in your Sims’ lives in the new Scrapbook. Custom Memories can also be created using the Capture This Moment tool. All Memories can be uploaded and shared on TheSims3.com and Facebook!

You can now adjust the lifespan length for each individual phase of life that a Sim goes through via the Options menu.

Live Mode
Sims can now ask other Sims out on dates!

Sims will now be given a Romantic Reputation based on their social interactions in the local dating scene.

Create a Sim
Body hair can now be applied on male Sims, from head to toe!

Build/Buy Mode
Players can now use the Catalog Filter in Build and Buy Mode to sort Content from different installed Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs, as well as content from The Sims 3 Store.

World Adventures
Additional bug fixes and polish to existing features
Ambitions
Additional bug fixes and polish to existing features
Late Night
Additional bug fixes and polish to existing features
Generations
Additional bug fixes and polish to existing feature

What I'm most interested here is the last part. I'd like to be notified of anything that needs corrected on the guide because of this patch. Maybe they fixed a few things we unfortunately had to mark as bugged on the guide. Running through it myself would be tough, so I'd like to have the community's help figuring out exactly what's fixed to make the guide as accurate as possible.

EDIT: After installng, I'm up to version 1.22.9. 600 megabytes of patch, maybe that's the real meat of all the fixes. I suppose it's a separate update for Generations only, while 1.21.123 is for vanilla or other EP owners.

Talk about vagueness on the bugs list! Sheesh. Yeah, it's going to be a long process hunting down what exactly is different post-patch. My notebook is always close at hand.

Haha, I've just started a topic about this.
But oh well, now I have something to remove.

I've also thought to see that the freezing bug finally got fixed. After uploading my game, Femis King (sim) got stuck ones again in being totally frozen solid. But I didn't even need to reset him as he did that himself, without losing his tasks.
Could be a one time only event, but I really hope this bug is fixed. I could send my sim alone to a foreign country otherwise, as resetting a selected sim is asking for trouble.

Oh, by the way: my version is called version 7.3.2.011031, for incase you wanted that to know.
I have every expansion except for Generations yet.

It came out today. I needed a reinstall of EADM (it changed to Origin) and now it works fine.

Carl, base game patch allow dates and prank calls (I have only vanilla + ambitions) in addition to other stuff.

Don't worry about that Seabody. It may have not arived yet in New Sealand. The thing is you don't have to search for that update as it will find you... Sounds scary huh?
Na, I mean it will asked to be installed after it arives in your country and you have opend your sims game.

Cool they treated everyone kindly with this patch's new features, any bugs aside. I'll make the necessary edits on my next round of updates.

I somehow forced the patch when I uninstalled and re-installed everything.

However, the thread seems to imply that it will no longer be needed. Very confusing. (I haven't used this manual patch, so I cannot confirm that it works, I just spotted that it was there whilst browsing the official forum.)

I'm wary about downloading this. I am 101% sure that this patch is Patch 1.22, which you should only install if you have Generations.

EDIT: I am really wary. If you look at the Culmulative Patch list on the Official forum, at the Base Game Super Patcher (the first one), it has a link to download the superpatch for 1.22. I'm really nervous, and unsure if I should download it.

Seabody - I downloaded the patch from Gheez's link, and I haven't been able to use my game since. When I open the launcher it tells me "There was an error during startup. Please see the log for further details". Also, if I look in the corner where the logos are displayed I can't even see the Generations one. I really, really wish I hadn't downloaded it, in part because I had a stroke of luck and actually bought Generations the other day, and now I can't even play it  . I'm going to do a fresh reinstall as soon as the holidays start and I can get my disks back.
