Congratulations on the upcoming weddings, Marigold, Sunflower, Leo, and Laurie! Even though I knew Leo's relationship already, (Schipperke had entrusted me with this information while I was writing the Forum Sim Grab Bag, in order to more accurately capture Leo and Mr. Payne's connection) I didn't know the rest of Leo's backstory. I'm glad we have Leo to thank for the wonderful Orphanage Project!  ;D

I did not see that coming.  :o Wow.
Audren, how on earth did you manage to keep that quiet? I'm impressed.

This story actually found itself in my dreams last night - Leo was cooking and I was trying to help him rescue a failed dish. Don't let Leo cook, I guess. :) And I guess I even like the Flowers in my sleep...

Maybe one of the later students will be your simself. LOL

I just now catch up with the story, it is so amazing! I spend the afternoon reading it and I burned dinner!
I totally forget I was busy cooking lol. It happened before while I was playing sims but never when reading a story!
I can't wait for the weddings. ;D

Sorry about the burned dinner, Louise!

I've been putting off trying for the weddings after reading about all the problems people are having since the patch, kind of hoping they'll release another patch soon to fix the problems caused by that patch.  But I do want to try soon.  If it doesn't work, the two couples may have to just settle for living together out of wedlock.  I hope it will work, though.  The first time I decide to try for a proper wedding, and now marriages aren't working?  Maybe it's karma - perhaps my Sims are just not destined to have lovely weddings.  But thanks for the comment, and I am going to get up my courage to try soon.

I hope the weddings work out Schip! I was so afraid Grim would show up before they drink the potion.
Don't worry about the burned dinner lol! I'm a pro at rescuing burned food. :P

Milk and a bit of salt has undone many a burnt dish, and some spices and reheating does the rest.

I married two Sims who already lived in the same house, they got the moodlets and changed relationship status. The arch did reset the bride (who initiated the interaction) but otherwise all was fine, including the exchanging rings animation. Since they live in the same house already, I'm guessing your Sims will be fine.

Since the arch reset the bride, maybe there is a problem with the arches.
I didn't patch my game yet, I'm a little afraid of new patches lol. ::)

Yeah I quite agree. My game crashed to smithereens the first time I ever patched up a few weeks ago. Now I must purchase all my EPs again (after already having had to replace base game first, only bit that works now). It's an expensive exercise... Never had a day's trouble without patches. I'll never patch up again unless my game stops working without it.

Donatello, for some reason there were two copies of your post so I removed the second one.

I know I'm taking my own thread off topic, but I have to ask:  why do you need to repurchase everything?  If you had originally purchased the downloadable version, can't you just re-download?  Repurchasing everything sounds pretty awful!  I'd try contacting EA about the issue and see if something can be done.  Good luck.  :)

They can't do a thing, problem is I never registered the originals (didn't know about it) so when I lost my CD container with moving (containing the equivalent of about $1'500 US in important originals, including CorelDraw and other expensive, professional design programmes and tools), I resorted to using an image on a virtual drive. Now that worked fine as a substitute. But the problem is that my original purchase now means nothing, since the patch destroyed/corrupted that image. I know the "that is wrong" bit. But just like now, I couldn't afford to replace R12'000 in original, legal discs. Only, this time I have learnt my lesson from last time. Still, everything was legal originals and now I must suffer anyway.

(It's the financial equivalent of having to buy two new, fully functional computers. That's how bad my situation was. I still haven't replaced anything, but besides Sims, none of the other programmes need their discs to run, only for installation. Sorry for double posting.)
