Well, again, I finally got caught up with your story Schipperke and still brilliant.  Have you thought of maybe, just maybe putting Leo in the swap shop, pretty please, lol.  I can hardly wait for more updates. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

I had two ideas in mind, that wasn't one of them... Say, Laurie seems a little too handsome for a Random CASer?  8)

Marigold:  You can't stay here.  This is a girls' school!  We don't take male students!
Laurie:  Gender discrimination?  In this day and age?  How very Sims2.  Haven't we moved beyond that sort of nonsense?

That really had me out of chair!  ;D

Omg Schip...I've spent the better part of an hour reading this thread...you are soooo good.  I love this story and all the comments. :D  The one about "How very sims 2" just about had me spitting water all over my monitor. :D

A couple of things...1, I never got the clues to the scavenger hunt, too busy reading and 2, [singsong]I know what Leo's doing...teehee.  Promise I won't tell.  I become very attached to your little simmies and their stories. :-*

More please... ;D

You like Leo?  So do I.  I'd be glad to share him.  Just give me time to relearn how to do it.

For a great description of a man in a kilt, see Diana Gabaldon's Outlander.

I agree, Marian!  I've read most of the books in that series and I love them.

2, [singsong]I know what Leo's doing...teehee.  Promise I won't tell.

Thanks, bshag.  I suspect a lot of people know the direction in which this story is going, and I appreciate your discretion in not sharing what you've figured out.  It allows me to have the illusion that I'm creating suspense which will make people want to keep reading!   ;D

Oh, and Carlos?
Hmm, so the ladies like kilts you say? I better, ah, embrace my culture a little bit more then lol.

There is no sexier garment on a man than an authentic 8-yard kilt.  Absolutely none.  Why do you think people (women) are always speculating on what a Scotsman wears under his kilt?

Thanks everyone for the comments!

Oh, and one more thing ... I said there would be another treasure hunt this week, and there will.  I have the clues made up and I'm quite pleased with them, if I do say so myself.  I do believe they'll be quite challenging.

Sorry to be a bit off topic but I've never played the Sims 2 before so what do you mean?

It's just Laurie's way of saying it's old-fashioned, because presumably Sims2 came before Sims3.

Ah, I see. I like the random humour you find on this forum. It's great to know people with a good sense of humour, I haven't got a great one but it'll do.

I know what's a kilt, man skirt sounds funnier. I agree with you Schipperke.
I love this! Can't wait to read more.
By the way, I spit Coke on my computer. You just can't stop laughter.

Chapter Thirty

Sunday afternoon - evening.  Sunflower is at work, but the other two instructors have already started their lessons.  Marigold tutors Kay in painting:

Kay listens politely.  She isn't sure painting will help her in her future career as Emperor of Evil.  Then it occurs to her that there's a lot of money to be made in art theft, and maybe she should pay attention to her lessons.

The first thing Joyce does upon returning from her Charisma class is to go and snoop around Leo's apartment.  When I caught her, she was on her way to turn on the stereo and make herself right at home.  I sent her back to the house to practice the guitar instead.

Meanwhile Imogen, who wants to be an Astronaut, has persuaded Leo to train her on the treadmill.  As they're working, Gus Hart arrives and stands staring at Imogen as she works out.

Yes, the arrival of a new group of students always brings at least one male townie over to check out the new girls.  They haven't been invited, and the household doesn't normally have a lot of drop-in visitors.  But every time the girls arrive, at least one male townie can be counted on to arrive soon after.  Sometimes I really wonder if Sims know more than they're letting on.

Nobody has greeted Gus or made him welcome in any way.  He seems content to stand and watch Imogen exercise.
The Leo says to Gus:  Look behind you.  One of the students is coming over to talk to you.
Gus whirls around, eager to see the lovely young thing who wants to meet him.  The reality isn't quite what he anticipated:

Yes, it's Laurie, back from his Charisma class and wanting to practice his Charming Introduction on Gus.  Gus looks less than overjoyed.  His plan to check out the young ladies is further foiled by Leo, who decides it would make him very happy if Gus would pose for a sculpture.  "Put your hands behind your back, Gus.  Now just keep them there!"

By the time the sculpture is finished, Gus is exhausted and wants nothing more than to go home to bed.  And Leo has just gained 1000 happiness points.

Say, Laurie seems a little too handsome for a Random CASer?  8)

Ya think?   ;) Ok, you got me!  It's just possible that Laurie got a little extra attention because he may be going to play a slightly bigger part in this story than the other students.  Maybe.
