And by the way, Leo is now in the Swap Shop.

Schip, would you kindly private message me the instructions on how to upload story characters to the Swap Shop? Or provide a link where it has been explained?

Thanks.

Chapter Thirty-One

Sunday evening - Monday morning.

The students are supposed to cook for themselves, but Sunflower has been at work so she hasn't been able to tutor any of them in the Cooking skill.  And since Create-a-Sim didn't give us any Natural Cooks this week, I don't want to chance having an unskilled cook burn down the house.  They have leftovers for supper, then watch television before going to bed.  Here's the whole group together:

Oh.  Not quite the whole group.  I forgot that Laurie was sent upstairs to unclog the toilet.  "Here's your chance to learn Handiness, Laurie!  Just think how useful this skill is going to be in your travels."

At this point Laurie may be reconsidering his decision to come to the school.

Next morning the students are all hungry, but they have to wait until one of them has learned the Cooking skill.  Sunflower tutors Laurie while the others make discordant noises on the guitars.

The tutoring goes quickly and Laurie hurries over to prepare his first meal.  "Hurry up with those waffles, Laurie!  Everybody's getting very hungry!"

He has some really funny facial expressions.  I'd sure like to know what he's thinking here:

Finally the waffles are ready!  Now, we've had one Natural Cook among our previous students.  Her waffles were Very Nice quality.  Most of the student efforts were burnt and horrifying.  Laurie's waffles are Outstanding quality.  No kidding.  I mean, how??  He has one point of cooking skill, he's working on the same equipment as all the other students, with the same store-bought ingredients, and he's not a Natural Cook.  I don't understand it.  It seems our Laurie has hidden talents.  But it's very good news for the students, who will be in a good mood when lessons start in earnest after breakfast.

While Sunflower was tutoring Laurie, Marigold explained to the other students about the treasure hunt.  "There will be 3 clues this week.  The team that wins will get a special prize.  There will also be a prize for the second-place team.  Winners to be announced at the party on Thursday evening."

The first clue:  Check me out!  'Ave no fear!  I'm 'armless!

Good luck, and as always, if you know the answer, please keep it to yourself for now.

Awesome update! The scavenger hunt question confuses me greatly though... It seems that certain sims do things better than others for random reasons. And some sims just work harder.

Heehee!  I told you this week's clues would be harder!  *evil chuckle*

Remember, the clues are all about something in Sunset Valley.  If you know your SV trivia, that will definitely help.  Being familiar with cryptic crosswords will help too.  I'm no good at all at solving cryptics, but I have some understanding of how they work, and at least one of this week's clues is intended to be a cryptic.  There!  Look at all those hints!  Now it's easy, right?  ;)

I have a "left-field" idea of what the clue's hint is but I'm not saying, and it's probably wrong. :P :D

I've never had a new cook's quality of any meal be outstanding on the first try...Laurie is talented. :D

I have about two guesses that are probably as far from the answer as we are from pluto.  ;) I have several things that I think lead to the answer I just don't know the answer, Lol.
