If all else fails, Buddy Bailey. Big nose, but he was a great dynasty spouse.

This is Strictly Business Right?

I've never been great at social graces. Mom always said I inherited that from the Millhams. So maybe telling him I wanted to date him wasn't the best way to get to know a guy? I've never had a boyfriend before. Lily my twin back home. She has had tons of boyfriends. She's the pretty twin anyways. So I actually think I scared off Justin.

He lived with his best friends. I think three single guys pitied a girl alone with no fridge of her own. So they invited me to dinner. I didn't mind at all. I was a gal on a mission. A mission that a certain someone was trying his hardest to make difficult!

Thankfully Justin allowed me to stay the night. My excuse that my house was being fumigated worked. Now if only he'd be still for a kiss...

For three days I abandoned my writings for this boy. I must be going crazy. He just made my heart flutter so much. It was about more than securing an heir. I wanted to be with this crazy little geek. Maybe just maybe he could learn to love me too?

He took off for the bathroom. The nerve hit me. It was ask now or never. Justin had skirted, stammered, stuttered, and flat out run away. I wanted him. I wanted him to be mine. Social graces or none at all I was asking.

To my amazement he said yes! I struck while the iron was hot and married him immediately in his bathroom. We haven't even kissed yet. The problem was how was I to tell my little geek that I was to live forever and he was to...meet the end?

Little did I know that as I slept Justin snuck off to the library with the diary. He read the entire thing cover to cover. Silently he crossed town and built four walls. With our limited funds he bought us a few amenities. There was no floor or wallpaper on the walls. It was dark because windows would have to wait for payday.

Quietly he walked me to our little abode and grinned showing his handiwork, " I know we just met. I also know you wanted me for extra cash and well an heir. If this immortality thing is what you want then I will help. I can learn to paint just as well as invent. I also got a job at the Science Lab. We can do this together. Just no nooboos yet. Let's get to know each other first. "

Justin is a bit older than me. He is almost a full adult. I didn't know where he had achieved such wisdom. All I know is that my heart melted that night. Exhausted I tried out our cheap bed. Justin stayed up learning to paint.

What do you mean no nooboos yet?!? That's the best part!
Oh well, at least he is slaving away at the easel agreeing to paint. 8)

Every Little Bit Counts

The first few days of our marriage we worked hard. Justin spent his days working at the lab, afternoons at the firehouse making inventions to sell, and nights at home on the easel. He was always so tired. So tired in fact I felt awful. I've written my first two books. The first one being a bestseller! The royalties will come in handy.

I spend many of my days working on friendships. It's worked also. I'm a level one celebrity now. Hopefully that means some free furnishings for us! Also, I've achieved my first best friend. Dilly Pidgin.  I was so excited I ran home to tell Justin. Instead he had a surprise for me.

Our home had the absolute most beautiful wood floors. Cheery yellow wallpaper was on the walls. He'd put my favorite color on the walls. I stood shocked and amazed. I knew he was iffy about touching still. However, I forgot it. Once kiss led to two. Two led to three. Three led to Justin asking a question.

A few days later I wasn't feeling well at all.

I panicked a little. Calling Dilly I cried and worried. We were more stable financially now. We could actually afford to buy a crib. Justin had reached level four of painting. He actually loved it. His paintings sold well also. However, am I ready to be a Mom? Am I ready for baby?

We only have one room for a home. We don't even own a stove yet. Here I am...in all my expectant glory. What will Justin say?

Justin is thrilled! He grinned and kissed me. Then he called his hi-tech friends. Justin has been fussing over me. He constanly makes me eat salads. It's to keep "nooboo healthy". Also he reassured me about finances. Justin had gotten a promotion at the Science lab. His old enemy which is also his boss has forgiven him. I'm not sure what happened there but now the man calls all the time to chat.

Boy or girl it'll be here any day now....Now if only my back would stop hurting.

Even if men say they're "iffy" about touching; when push comes to shove they just can't resist!

Congratulations to the soon-to-be parents!

Welcome Little One

I learned quickly that pain that great wasn't back pain! Justin panicked seeing how badly I was hurting. The taxi seemed to take forever to get there. I know he was concerned, but him swearing how slow it was did not help. Hours later we had our little boy. Justin was so cute in the hospital. He grinned and showed off his son. All our friends agreed he was a cutie.

I let Justin name the nooboo. It seemed right considering he was working so hard. We were so happy to bring little Leo home. Leo was a heavy sleeper from the start. Nothing can wake that child up! I think he was born with the virtuoso trait also. He grins and coos when Justin's deep bass comes from the shower.

Justin barely ever sleeps. He worries about his painting skill! Constantly he is telling me, "When I can paint portraits, then I will breathe." Many days he just takes naps. Then it's back to the easel again when he is not at work. I feel bad making him work so hard. So for fun one day I hid the easel.

I invited all his friends over and made a cake. Justin was so happy to have his party! My man is a full adult now. Grinning he also announced to everyone he was promoted again. In the middle of the festivities he leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Tonight honey you pose." I had only one day until my birthday. Justin had did it! I would have my first museum piece.

Everyone also enjoyed playing with little Leo. Justin is so proud to have his baby boy sharing his day. As a part of his bonus, Justin brought home a couple of toys for Leo to play with.

Leo is such a cutie with his white-blonde hair and big blue eyes. I do believe he inherited his Daddy's nose though. For fun Justin scooped up little Leo and posed with him. Hopefully some day I will have a real camera to take pictures with.

Everyone eventually left and I cleaned the leftover cake. Justin sketched out his idea for building us an actual bedroom. He tells me after we have a proper bedroom and furniture we will build a museum room. I say my one portrait he is to paint will look very lonely. Using the living room was fine for now. Then Justin grinned and shooed me out to change into my finest clothes. He was ready to paint his first portrait.

Along with the portrait Fauna has accomplished two Ops and three Best friends. I seriously almost failed with gen 1. This was painted hours before Fauna aged up into an adult. Whew!
