No Quest for the Weary problem

I just got to a point on "A NEW BEGINNING" where it now gives me the option to create a new kingdom under the No Quest For The Weary. I created a new monarch and when I go to choose a quest to begin. it doesn't allow me to pick anything. Just shows a box that says "more heroes (1) need to be placed to start questing."  My question is, where do I place another hero. I have nothing to put him in, no other buildings besides the throne room or any resources. What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to the forum, coalminer.  I want to be sure I'm understanding you right.  You've done the first Ambition and know how to place buildings, correct?  Now you're starting another Ambition, you've got the Monarch, but you don't have any RP to put in another building?  Is this right?

There are a number of quests that can be done with the Monarch alone.  I don't know why those quests wouldn't be available for you.

I've seen this before too, on my third ambition after doing the Brave New World quest to transplant someone. You should have gotten a message that "there are extra resources"...  Basically, you got 10 free RP to make another building. I built the Knight's Barracks, but of course, you can shoose to build whatever you like.

You have some RP to place a building and place a hero there-within

I had the same "problem" but it isn't a problem.  All buildings are free the first round in this Ambition (you'll see their icons are all green, which means you can afford them), so just build whatever you want.
