CST covers the middle section of the United States.  Dallas, Oklahoma City, Joplin, Kansas City, Minneapolis for a few.

Actually, it's not CST right now.  It's CDT, Central Daylight time.  CST is in the winter when we're on the regular time schedule.

arhh, about 9pm tomorrow night I'f I'm not mistaken.. World clock says its 3.45am Saturday in Minneapolis - so 6am Sun will be 9pm Sunday down the east coast of Australia

Well, I don't know about New Zealand but they certainly haven't begun here. They begin at the end of June in Scotland.

so what cities are CST?

My home province of Saskatchewan is Central Standard Time.  We don't do the daylight saving thing, so it's CST here year round.  So if Metro is going to post his big announcement on Sunday at 6 am CST, he's on Saskatchewan time.  Very enlightened of him.
