The Ultimate Hybrid- The Delmont Journal ~Story Finished~

Journal Entry 1

Hello friends my name is Drew Delmont. I am a 4th generation that grows more unique as times flies by. You see my great-gran has a dream..more of a far fetched one that I have seen. My dear great gran has been working for generations to make the perfect hybrid. A creature that is part simbot, part mummy, part vampire, and part ghost. Although she has come close many times..she has never made it all the way. I will write in this journal to put her great work in writing. So that everyone will one day know the lengths she went to see her dream come true. I am Drew Delmont part mummy, part simbot, and part ghost in human form.

(Pictures will come soon)

I am with Juxt. I just might not be so patient!

Journal Entry 2

My great gran is an eccentric. Loving everything from tinkering with the flat screen to building massive creations that no one man could imagine. The love of science and exploration led her and her best friend, Fiona Spellman, together. Fiona idolized gran and gran appreciated the company. The two went past college and found a quaint spot near a waterfall. The decision to become roommates was an easy one what would happen next was not something so easy. While Fiona stayed and worked on her career in the medical field, gran decided to tackle Egypt a few times to start her personal museum, it seemed as if they were both happy as things were.

Shortly after her return from her last trip, gran went back to the inventing table to create a time machine, which would be what she thought her master creation. Fiona tended the garden and continued on her climb up the medical ladder. Then something happened that would change everything forever.

Gran had tackled the time machine, the harvester, and many more within a week! Her travels to the future and to the past have been used in many conversations since, but the one thing she discovered, was the secret to immortality. Many sims over the years talked and fantasized about ambrosia but never found the recipe to be true. My gran discovered the recipe and vowed that she would never age a day past 21. Fiona would not know the truth for many years.

One would think that a time machine, ambrosia, and immortality were enough. Not for my gran.

A local celebrity in Sunset Valley her creations and discoveries wowed many. Many were so impressed that the science facility had a special project for her. Bring the nessacary items and create life. This resulted in days of hard work...that created Sasha, a simbot, and my great aunt maybe? The family tree is so complicated not even I can sort through it sometimes.
The creation of life thrilled my gran. She wanted to create more, but not just an army of simbots. She gave her life from thereon out to the ultimate creation. A hybrid creature unlike any seen before. A simbot, ghost, mummy, and vampire hybrid. She had a simbot not she just needed one of each creature.

A normal person would have just gotten married and gave birth to a few bouncing babies...

Thank everyone! I wish i knew how to take screenshots, not like the normal ones you take in the game, but the one that will take a pic of the computer screen so you can see the needs bars and family tree and such. Some of the things that have come out are great but still not what I want. I do want to show you sim by sim what they can and cannot do or what benefits they got from which creature.

Loving the story so far. As for the shots you were talking about I think that you can print screen it (pressing alt+Prt Scrn and then pasting it), I believe this can capture the whole screen in sims 3. I'm not completely sure so give it a test, if not it is worth asking in the technical help board.  ;)

Journal Entry 3
Some of the entries may be spotty. You see I am writing this from gran’s very terrible notes she kept on the progress. Never much of a photographer or much of a note taker either. Since gran had the simbot, her adopted daughter Sasha, she went forth looking for the reaming creatures needed.

First she needed a vampire. Since vampires came out the coffin it was not hard to find one at all. Gran knew she wanted a female vamp to be part of the “breeding” process-she just needed to pick which one. The only vamp that agreed to come over was Nancy Landgraab. So once she was lured inside the house with fresh plasma she was locked in the basement.

You would think that the worst my great gran was capable of was just kidnapping…but no...Sadly that is not all.

So now she had her simbot and her vampire. What about the ghost. Well since stealing graves was a tad bit “too much”, according to her notes, she figured she would make one instead. Poor Leighton Setmeko was the poor soul who answered the phone call and was killed by starvation later that evening.
Gran now had her simbot, vampire, and in 2 or 3 days a ghost. Now...how was she going to get a mummy in Sunset Valley with only 4 canopic jars? The answer was easy….SIMBAY. The Cursed Sarcophagus of Kings was on sale for a few thousand simoleans and she jumped on it. When it was delivered she was still trying to go over in her head who she was going to shove in it. It sure was not going to be her. So sadly…her best friend Fiona was tricked into being the lucky contestant on WHO WANTS TO BE A MUMMY?!
The creatures were there and all she needed to do was breed all 3 female creatures with the male ghost to see what would pop out. The results were fascinating.
Nancy Landgraab gave birth to a purple ghost vampire baby boy named Ashton.
Fiona Spellman gave birth to a set of twins Desmond and Copper. Both were mummies that looked like a normal sim.
Then there was Sasha…who never gave birth. To this day she is alive and still in labor. Gran kicked her out with Nancy after the first wave of breeding. Everything was off to a great start and gran was excited for what the future would bring.

Thank you beccaboo, I think I tried everything except that. I will try it when I load the game again. I am sure that will work.

Hehe. But really, aren't we all? ;D

PrintScreen will work perfectly, but you'll need to paste it into PowerPoint or similar and save as a picture, then upload and include in the post. ;)

I'm wondering if the Simbot couldn't deliver her baby while her household was the active one because they can't reproduce (without mods) except through story progression. Might be something to consider for next time, I guess.

I'm super excited to see pictures, Barbie!
