Same sex sims want child?

Okay, so I always thought the same sex sims couldn't have babies unless they adopted (Which they have done.)
However, my two female sims have both recently had the same wish, which is to have a child with the other one... is it possible to fullfill this wish? If so how?
By the way, I play on xbox360

I don't think adopting would solve the wish, but it might. If not, I don't think it'd be possible to solve it.

Sims can get weird wishes, like giving birth as an elder.  There's a whole thread about them here

It isn't possible  but you can do what I did because I have 2 female Sims married.

Sim 1 = female 1  Sim 2 = female 2.

Invite the potential father to the house.
Have Sim 1 talk to him while...
You send Sim 2 to the gym.
Go to Build/Buy mode and move a bed just next to Sim 1.
Use the Get Lucky karma power on Sim 1 and use romantic topics until the Try for Baby option appears. Should only take 1 topic before you can make a baby.
When they are done start chatting while you call Sim 2 home.
When Sim 2 gets home send Sim 1 to the gym and repeat the process with Sim 2.
Presto 2 pregnant Sims.
Send the father to be home by asking him to leave and continue on.

Save your game just prior to this. At times a Sim doesn't go to the gym and walks in.
You must have 100 saved Karma as each Get Lucky costs 50.

Adopting will work. My sims daughter and her wife both had a wish to have a baby and a wish to have a baby with each other and I let them adopt in it granted both wishes.

Or at least it works on the PC version. Might be different with the xbox.

I don't see how this method would grant the wish for the two Sims to have a baby with each other.  I'd say adoption is the answer.

It worked for me. Both of my girls had the same wish (to have a baby with each other [wife/wife]) as the starter of this thread and that is why I mentioned the method that worked as he was asking for help.

I feel sometimes that the console versions were rushed too fast to be produced when the PC game came out that many bugs weren't properly addressed. In this case the girls get the wish fulfilled for having a baby with their spouse yet the game recognizes the children as being steps under the family tree = weird. In many cases the PC info works great for us console users, yet in some quirky cases it really is bad.
