Body of Sim is disappeared but Green diamond and thought bubbles still appear!

Hi! I'm having some trouble playing my Sim and tried google searching for some help and came across this forum, hope someone can help! For some reason on a recent trip to China my Sim has disappeared! Her thought bubble is still there and the green diamond but she is not, her head has also disappeared from the HUD and when I go to change her planned outfit a grey generic looking body replaces her when trying on clothes and it looks really deformed!

I'm so confused Is there anyway to get her body back? I tried saving and restarting and also resetSim but neither have worked. Everything else is working fine but you just can't see her!

What you describe sounds like a well known travel bug.  Sometimes when a Sims comes back from vacation, bodies disappear.  If restarting the game and resetting the Sim doesn't work, I suggest you try to recover a previous back up.  If that doesn't work, we can only hope that you have saved a duplicate copy of your game file.  If not, it's probably the end of the line for that file.

Thanks! I'll try recovering a previous back-up! Also now the HUD has disappeared so I can't control anything D: so strange!

Yes, that's a wicked bug when it hits.  I hope you're able to salvage a previous save.  Otherwise, it's likely lost.

Wasn't able to fix it! However, While in China I copied my Sim, added her to a random household then added it to my invisible Sim's Household. Went back home and then kicked my invisible self out! I have to restart my career and friends but at least I have all my belongings and my house!
