Life Fruit disappearing from inventory

Hello
I am having a problem.  My simbot had about 200 life fruit in his inventory, and he still posesses them but they don't appear in his inventory.  I know they exist because when he goes to feed the omni plant they appear as an option but when I attempt to feed it wont go to queue.

Has anyone else had this problem.  They are useless to me as is but this creates a problem because now I can't feed my omni plant life fruit to use as fertilizer.  Right now I am using salmon but this isn't an optimal situation.

Any ideas?

Though I don't expect it to work, have you tried using resetsim?

Also, if you go to the grocery store or consignment shop do they show up as sellable?

The consignment shop only lets you sell things in the houshold inventory and my simbot cant even click on the grocery store... yet another glitch.  Maybe if I kick him out of my family and have him move back in.

Oh and I tried to reset him and no luck.

He may be eating them. Simbots can eat sim food.

The consignment store is not limited to 'household inventory'. I sell harvestables, fish and inventions directly from Sim inventory on a regular basis.

Like I said they are still kind of in his inventory and I know this for 2 good reasons.
1.  He had over 200 to begin with so he couldnt have eaten them or fetilizd with them all overnight
2.  They show up as an option when I go to feed my omni plant but when I choose them they don't go to the queue.

Oh and yes I checked my refridgerator and no they didn't end up there.

I will try quitting and returning to game.

Well that did the trick... should have tried that first.
