Oh yay, it should be interesting to try to keep them in the house for that long, I'm assuming there won't be any other kids in this generation?

Jerry - Cross-Breeder (Science Lvl 10)

That's actually level 9 in Science.  Level 10 is Mad Scientist.

Well then you can see that I am experimenting with this Legacy and its careers! So far the members have been the first to reach level 10 of Journalism, Business and Prof Sports in my sims games! Daphne will be second to finish Culinary!

I'm assuming there won't be any other kids in this generation?

I'm trying to keep a pattern of one Character Group per Generation... So that's it for now!

Well I say it makes more sense to not have a full house all the time but for some reasons all my houses end up with it...
 ::) Those crazy Sims.

Just realized I messed everything up!  :( Jerry is going for the max Painting and Guitar LTW! I must have had a complete mix up with another family I have who have just had a baby and is aiming for that career path! I can be daft!  ;D

Jerry Aged up! I think I forgot to say his traits as well! Friendly and Artistic!

Tom maxed Xylophone and Peg Box skills! He is now ready to age up!  ;)

Philippe aged into an Adult and reached level 2 of handiness...  ::)
Fred and Lana are still with us! It's nice that they are around to help and whatever but they do get bored, well Fred has his board breaker and Lana has.... nothing!

If you want to know something Lana could do?
I once sent my family to Paris and picked up a Nectar Maker, (they never used it, they didn't even get it out).
My Sim who had no experience in Nectar Making (she was an Elder, retired with only her garden and grand kids to look after) and so I put her to work making Nectar for the basement and just for fun (because when you drink some, you could be doing the most stressful thing, but as long as you have the "Sugar High" moodlet, your fun stays the same...) so she made it all the way up, maxed the skill within a few days (from nothing better to do.) So I had her get another one from Paris (and attempt the Chateau Crawl... yeah, not something I would recommend for an elder) but while I was there I picked up an extra Nectar Maker and brought it back, so that way she could continue to work on her Nectar while her Son, who needed to work a little more on his handiness, was able to fix up and upgrade both Nectar Machines. :)
So, well it was a bit of a rant, but there is something your elder can do!

To be honest I don't think it is worth investing in that method for Lana at 85 days old won't advance in her skill very much! (Not sure which Smiley to put so Ill put both! - ;) :'( ) Thanks for the suggestion though! After the Nectar Challenge I am steering clear of the stuff for a while!  ;D

Well it's a thought, you could have her take on the TV. Just sit her down and leave her there until her needs get low... She can probably take care of those herself even. ;)
But you know Sims tend to live past 90... ESPECIALLY if you don't want them to because your house is full and you want to marry off some Sims and move them out -.- .

They can take care of themselves - I make them  ;D Lana is neat so cleans the house! They have lived the longest of all Character Family Members, Mikey and Agnes died around 90 and so did Dafy and Wu, but Fred and Lana at 95. Fred doesn't even have the Marathon Jgger which supposedly makes your sim live longer. It also helps having Elders around to look after babies because you might as well have someone on Baby Watch all day every hour!

The thing about the babies is so true.
It makes it a lot easier to do night-runs and baby checks with people who don't NEED to go to work, and who don't NEED to do anything the next day. :)

I will have Philippe for the toddler years as he just completed his LTW and needs to get ahead in Handiness for his Military Career. So the family will do okay without the Elders, even though they are very close to all their kids. It will be a sad day and a funeral...  :'(
