At my daycare, one of the moms actually stayed at my daycare with her toddler daughter, just to use the slip n slide, only to be charged extra for not picking her daughter up on time.

What is the Gnubb game?

Gnubb is a Swedish game in RL. It's a game in TS3 Ambitions where a Sim needs to knock over the pins of another team and them the central King to win.
EDIT: It takes up 4x7 squares, I think. Sims are addicted to it. It's TS3 for Sims. Lol.

Well now, teen sims will pull pranks on their own, but I think having the rebellious trait probably helps with that.  One sim, did the computer, the chair and the sink, all in one swoop.  Needless to say, she was sent to the corner and none too happy about it either, lol. :)

Has anyone noticed that with Generations Sims seem to be doing more on their own?

You know what, one thing I know for sure because I have waited for long and Sims just simply wont do it on their own is to fall in love with another Sim by free will.  I've always wanted for my Sims to choose their own partner or love interest (since Sims 2), but no dice. I always end up giving some sort of push in that direction. Has anyone seen otherwise?  :)

They might not fall in love while you are watching, but they do now when they are at work or teens find romance at the prom.  Unfortunately, when my sim found a romantic interest at work, he is already married, so it didn't do much for his reputation, lol.  I  just thought it was pretty neat my teen sim fell in love at the prom and will probably be her future husband.  Saves alot of time hunting for one.  Might come in handy for dynasties too, unless they fall in love with a vampire.

I've had quite a few Sims autonomously feed the fish in bowls.

Same with Tanks, to the extent that they drop what they are doing.

I've had several "flirty" sims develop romantic relationships autonomously, but no other Sims.

I am really glad to hear that, cause I've read somewhere else that butlers as well as maids don't do it.

Maybe it's not in their job description.   ;)

You're right Saltypaws! I just remembered that my teen Sims went to their prom last night, brother and sister Sims, and he (brother) ended up with a love interest, the girl he danced with. So I quickly checked the sister, coz I've been trying to match her up with a love interest in town, but she came home with nothing, zero love life  :(   I found it interesting and queer, because her brother had the evil trait and she had the friendly trait plus the "attractive" life reward I got for her!

By the way, I've tried this autonomous scheme before, I created a "dormitory" for teens - because I had way too many teen Sims in the neighborhood and I wanted to look after them in one place rather than play many families separately. So I moved in the teen Sims (I started with
a female dormitory) and I put in one adult female Sim to be the caretaker. The caretaker was the one I controlled, her job is to cook group meals and to clean, that was all. I wanted to see what the teen Sims would be upto left on their own in high free will setting. I would say their actions are
a result of their traits and how they were raised as children.  I recall the results were so different, some Sims would play all day while some Sims would do their assignments without prompting, some Sims would not bath until they were super smelly, some Sims who were not toilet trained would keep on peeing on the floor (urgh!) Some Sims would learn how to cook for themselves when they were hungry, while some do nothing but complain and just eat junk food when they are super hungry. One Sim almost died because she couldn't make herself get off the exercise machine even when she was starving!  In other words, some Sims can handle their own moods/impulses and lives while others cannot (sounds like real life huh?) The game ends when they age into an adult. Try it, it's fun!  ;D

Ever since I got my free hot tub from uploading my memories, my Sims won't stop using it. I didn't think the hot tub would even work, since I don't have Late Night or Outdoor Living, but it works quite well. Again, the only Sim that didn't use the hot tub (or other water activities) autonomously was Nick Alto. He acts like a cat when you try to get him to use any water related stuff.  :D

Well, you may mean it like a joke, but actually your quite right about this. I do think this is litterly the case. Therefore I believe that if the butler or maid cv's where typed in Notepad, or could be opend with than it's simple a thing like typing in: do the fishes.
But oh well... maybe we will get an animal service pack after Pets will be released.

Oh, speaking about autonomously, my sims often tend to do things related to there skills with or without in combination with their traits. Romantic interactions are often done automatic, the same count for interacting with fun objects, but getting married they simply leave for me.
Clever, clever sims.
