Tomb Opportunities

Okay so I was wondering what happens when two sims go abroad with both adventurous trait and are both doing the opportunities.

When one of your sims has already done the quest(opportunity), you can see all around the tomb as you've opened all the rooms. So the other sim can't do the opportunity anymore?

For example, I already done Pangu's Axe on one of my sims. Does this mean my other sim can't do the opportunity anymore?

How does that work? Do you only use one sim to do the tombs? Thanks ;]

For all I know, the Pangu's axe is absolutely unique and cannot be regenerated, so logically, you can't do that adventure more than once at all.

For those adventure where you just go and bring some common stuff (like nectar) to some common sim, I actually have had similar ones several times.

For normal tombs (like, bring one artifact from that place, which happens to be completely worthless in all uses but in this adventure and spawns with the acceptance of this adventure even if you've been there a zillion times before on your own), I really don't know, and it may be that which opportunities you can do several times is a case-to-case study.

The tomb does not go "unexplored" again though, so it will not be as unique again as the first time at least.

The adventures come once per household.  So, anyone in your Sim's family will find the tombs already done if they go back to them.  Some adventures can be repeated, like the ones asking you to collect gems or metals, but the tomb adventures are one time only.

Is there an expiry date on this, does anybody know?  I mean, if my Sim's great great great grandchild goes to China, will they still find the tombs fully explored?

As a side note, I love how you can fulfil the want to fully explore a tomb like this.  Today I had the mother in my family spin up the want to fully explore a tomb, so I sent her to a small one that her daughter had done a few days earlier.  All she had to do was go down a flight of steps and bingo!  1,500 LHP!  ;D

I know. Some of the World Adventures skills and their corresponding wishes are just crazy-good: nectar-making, martial arts, and photography. I think fulfilling the Win a Martial Arts tournament wish is like 10k points! I may have been playing an Ambitious Sim when I saw that, but still. And some of the photography ones are great and award really high points — Take a Picture of the Great Sphynx. I think you'd only get that if you're already in Egypt anyway, so those kinds of wishes are killer. As opposed to the Paint a Masterpiece wish where you going to tie up 4 or 5 hours of your day.

Yeah, I guess photography has grown on me a bit. I guess if it's good enough for Stevie Wonder, then it's good enough for me.
