I saw little of my first generation or his wife even in the third generation of my second dynasty. Besides, Agnes is a triple threat - ready to paint, got an expensive car, and she's pretty (at least, I think so).

Kleptomania actually comes at a cost though - Cars have a lower resale value than their sell value. It's better to marry an Alto and sell the car legitimately than to steal it and sell it illegally.

And you don't want to marry a pretty sim only to find that they're actually Sim-monsters in traits.

I didn't know that about klepto's before and I stole a car thats usually over 100,000 dollars and only sold for 7,000! Still it will help bring some money in. I guess I'll probably do Agnes it's just that I've seen so many people choose her I wanted to try something different. She had a child that turned out great with Cylone Sword.

My Dynasty the Generation 2 looks nothing like the Founder, typical or what?  I vote Agnes! I get some real stunners of Agnes sometimes you know! The cash, skills and her decent traits really are fab!

Anne Song and Sunny Bakshi are really good as well, once you get them into new clothes. Sunny's natural hair color is incredibly cool.

Sunny was my founder's wife in my never-completed Apocalypse Challenge. Her great-granddaughter still had her hair color. It was also nice to have a variety of skin tones in the family since I usually tend to play sims with lighter skin.

If you're going to marry Holly for her car, don't marry her at your home or hers. She lives next door to the Dynasty lot so she will walk over and leave her car at home. Meet her somewhere else in town so she will bring the car with her.

Purely looking at genetics I'd say either Claire Ursine (after she's lost some weight!) or Pauline Wan. They're both gorgeous after some exercise and fashion advice; where Claire has Caucasian genetics and Pauline has Asian genetics.

Personally I'm not a very big fan of Agnes, I think she looks nice enough once you give her a make-over, but she has a very pronounced chin and a "hooked" nose. Those are the things she also - often - hands down to her children. Sure her traits are nice but that's nothing a Midlife Crisis can't fix for the other sims.

The founding generation of a Dynasty is the one with the biggest financial hurdle, but luckily it's also the one with the greatest amount of latitude with moving people in.  And moving an extra person into the household helps a lot:  not only do you get two initial boosts to your coffers, but you have 3 people who can work careers or skill related professions to keep the money flowing in.  It's something that I would recommend that anyone starting a new dynasty at least consider.

I'm not a member of the Agnes Fan Club.  I don't find her physically appealing even with a makeover.  However, she is rich and has a very high painting skill when the game starts, so she is at least worth bringing into the household for those reasons alone.  But even though I don't think she's all that good looking, even I have to admit that she is capable of producing some very good looking children.  So she's not a terrible choice for the founder's wife, either.

But if you're looking to bring someone really attractive into the household as "first lady," I would suggest Jamie Jolina.  She's attractive, and starts out rather high in the medical career.  Her daily paycheck is significant from day one.  Emma Hatch is likewise gorgeous after a few hours on the treadmill and a serious style rework, is a Natural Cook and starts out in the culinary career, giving you a good shot at getting that fridge early on.  Claire Ursine is not a bad choice as far as looks go (after the same attention Emma Hatch needs), but it's likely that she'll parallel your founder's career and already has a child on the way, so it's likely a two for one deal with her.  Pauline Wan is another good choice, and if you can wait 3 days on the spouse, so is Bebe Hart.

Madison VanWatson is another good choice. A few training sessions and a nice makeover will make her look absolutely gorgeous. But then again, it's the money problem.

None mentioned Jamie Jolina or Zelda Mae, they are very beautifull and gave very beautiful children. I managed to keep genetic in few generations, and their daughters and grandgranddaughters were very very pretty (males looked like founder for 5 generation, I lost that game at generation 6). I don't really like how grumpy Agness look, she is not ugly, but not too pretty when I compare her to Jamie or Zelda (with changed makeup). My vote is for Jamie, and for Zelda. Both very pretty with strong genetic and nice but not too usefull traits.

I really do like Emma Hatch and I think she's one of the best looking females in town after weight loss and makeover (surprised nobody mentioned her!)




Not sure how much money she starts off with so I'll still probably go with Agnes. Or maybe I should make a poll and just choose the one whose got the most votes.

The only issue I have with Agnes though, is that she's grumpy. The grumpiness seems genetic though on her part, so you might have to be really careful, you don't pass it on to your children.

I don't think traits on the sims are genetic - if you raise them well, you choose the trait. If you don't raise them well, the game spins a random trait.

I have had Sims marry Agnes several times, and let me tell you: Her children were never grumpy.
