In order to install some other features, I had to update the Server (which caused several problems including a temporary outage of the guide). When updating, our new version of PHP does not come with pspell installed by default, which is required for the forum's spell checker. I looked into and found the solution, but I don't want to risk further problems for this. All modern browsers have spell checkers, aside from Internet Explorer. I'm sure they'll fix that eventually - if they didn't already.
So I'm not planning to go through that entire process of tinkering with the server for that one browser. If you use IE and want spell check functionality, look to this program:
IeSpell which adds the ability to spell-check to the browser's right-click menu. This will give you a fraction of the spell-check functionality you'd have if you switched to Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. The program is free, and 100% safe.
