I want to live in your houses, Dane.  This one is perfection.  I know it's just Sims, but man it hit me with a huge emotional impact.  Are you sure you aren't really an architect?
What?  Grannies can't play games?

I'm certain the moment we mixed in the math and business side of professional architecture I would go crazy in no time flat.  ;D I don't know how career artists do it!

I agree with Joria on this one, it feels slightly more realistic than some of your other houses and that's what I love about it  ;D. I think the upstairs bedrooms are my favourite part, you really captured the childish/teenage themes.

I'm very glad that it had a successful family feel.  So often I veer toward the showy solitary manors that it was nice to put together something that could suit a family.

I really like how you put the stove in the counter. It makes the kitchen feel much more realistic. Great job on the bedrooms too.  ;D

I'm about to try this house out for a family I haven't played much. I'll let you know my opinions when I've given it a play.

Edit: Definitely gets a thumbs up. The family in it are probably going to outgrow it quite fast, so I may have to expand on it or move them out, but I love it.

Dane, just popped in to take another look at this one.  I'm thinking I'm going to have to rebuild an entire town based around your houses.  Might I suggest some commercial lots too?  Seriously, a lovely, totally modern building town would be awesome and yours are the best of the best.

Okay, on further playing, there are some issues here. The stove that is covered by the counter is often where the meals get put down, and I have to move the stove to get at the meal a lot. There's also a pathing issue in the red bedroom - my sims can't get to the side of the double bed that's half a square away from the left wall unless I move it. Other than that, I think all the pathing is fine.
