Has anyone ran into a sim with no traits before?

My sim had a wish to meet some one new and I found one that he didn't know so I done a charming introduction and with the observant LTR usually gets 3 traits from them and this time I didn't pick up any.
After asking her career, if she was single and her sign I still hadn't gotten any of her traits. So I was going to use my vampire skill to read her mind and get a trait and the trait option was grayed out.

I put my cursor over her picture while talking to her to open the info box and there wasn't a spot there for traits. There should have at least been the ? place holder for the unknown traits but with her nothing. Not even the Known Traits heading where the traits would be.

I'm use to running into sims with only 3 traits like the bouncers, mixologist, maids and other service sims but this is the first one I've seen with no traits.

This was in Bridgeport and her name is Kisha Terrell and she's unemployed, single and a Scorpio.
I can't even figure out where she lives. I checked every house in edit town mode using the split household to see who lives there and no sign of her anywhere.

Maybe shes in a Sim Protection Program or a undercover spy.

That's hilarious!  I've never run into a Sim with no traits at all.

I have never run into such a Sim, but such occurrence is very possible. The Story Progression just didn't choose traits. By the way, was Story Progression on at the time and was it in a brand new Bridgeport?

Yes, Story Progression is on and the game is in it's 13th sim week.
I figure she's a fairly new to the town sense my sim know about all the original towns people. It's hard for him to meet some one new.

If you have WA, have him travel to one of the locations and meet locals. Of course, if he doesn't know them all too.

Kisha Terrell is most likely a "homeless townie" (hence why you can't find out where she lives) who probably lives in one of the NPC apartments that active sims can never go inside.  However, she isn't listed on Wiki's list of Bridgeport homeless sims, so I would have to say that she was probably generated for future use.  You could find out where she lives by inviting her over, and then following her with the camera when she leaves your house.

While I have never encountered a sim that has no traits at all, I suppose it's possible.  However, if you invited her to move in with you, the game would possibly generate at least some traits for her.  Maids in particular either have different traits when they're npc's or will only have 3, but if you ask them to move in, a couple of these traits will change, or it will add 2 random traits to flesh them out.  Repair NPC,s on the other hand will only have their 3 original traits if you move them in.  So it's hard to say exactly what would happen.

Excuse me, but I have to disagree with this. Grady Elfman has four traits according to both Sims Wiki and the Relationship Panel (without moving in), and I moved him in as the spouse of my legacy founder, and he still has four traits. But he starts out as an Adult, so he must have five traits. But he has four, and it doesn't change, even if you move him in. I don't know about other NPCs, but Maids don't have this.

I invited her over and noticed she now had a job as a bouncer. I then had her leave and followed her home and she went the Talon and Striker's apartment building and vanished. So your probably right about her living in one of the NPC apartments.

I had her come back over and talked to her until I could move her in and she still had no traits. Her favorite music was roots but no favorite color or food was showed and she was an adult.

I started romancing her started going steady, got engaged, married and divorced and she still had no traits but she was now almost a 5 star celebrity from going though all that with my sim who is a 5 star.

Using testingcheats and giving her 20,000 Lifetime Points I could use Mid-life Crisis and pick all 5 traits for her tho.

Really, so much work. You could just Shift+Click your Sim and change the traits from there.

I thought of that too but not until after I had already gave her the 20,000 points.

I guess it was where I was clicking through all the tabs for her and when I open the Lifetime Points tab it made think of the Mid-Life Crisis and me wonder if I could give her traits so I just started added points to her.

I've encountered Sims with no traits.  As I recall, they were definitely NPCs.  Bouncer and social worker come to mind, but I'm not 100% certain about the jobs.

My game used to glitch often (on my old Mac, not because of mods) and the sim was only given one trait at birth (or sometimes none at all) and no more traits were gained after that. The option just didn't come up after the sim's toddler, child and teen birthdays. As said before, I just shift-clicked on the sim and added a trait there. I've never met a NPC sim with no trait though, how strange!

Update on Kisha, the girl with no traits.
Just ran into her at the Bridgeport Sports Zone where she's working as a bouncer now. I don't know what happened to her. May standing to close to a grill that blew up. It's a eerie look tho.

My God! She got jet black skin! Yes, it's possible somehow. If you have a baby with any of the Grim Reapers. Grim has black skin color (unavailable in CAS, though) and it's a 50/50 chance. But the Try for Baby option with Grim Reaper was removed in the first patch! Kisha is Grim Reaper's offspring! But that's impossible!

Maybe it can still happen with NPC sims ?
I was surprised when I saw her at the bar. Wish I had a picture of her when I first meet her. She had a slight tan but nothing like this.

Going to keep an eye on this sim and see if anything else happens with her.
