I've learned all the recipes except one (which is ambrosia or whatever its called). Can you learn more recipes after you read all the recipe books?

If it's like the PC version, there are only a certain amount of recipes to be learned.  They can be learned by reading the books, watching the cooking channel, or by trading kitchen secrets with another Sim who is a professional cook and/or has the Natural Cook trait.

Some people learned the Ambrosia recipe by watching the cooking channel. But, I won't recommend it, because it takes a lot of time and you have to know all the other recipes so the only one left is Ambrosia. Really, just save up money (and with Bookshop Bargainer LTR Ambrosia recipe costs only 6,000 simoleons) and get it from the bookstore. That's what I do. ;)
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa
