Is there a way for children to raise their school grades outside of school?

Apart from opportunities (like cleaning the bug cage or learning the writing skill), are there any ways to raise the kids school performance bars outside of school hours?

Sims with level 5 (I think) of logic can tutor kids to raise performance.
