I've only had one game get bugged, but it got really weird. He was engaged to a married Sim and could not break up with her. No quests were showing up in France, and sometimes he would be frozen in place. I ended up deleting him, and all was fine.

Overall, though, I think it is a good game. The tomb-exploring is a new twist to the game that works really well, but it is not as sandbox as the rest of the game. (traveling, that is)

Definitely buy it. I have never regretted doing so. The immense content it brings is the most any EP had brought. Three new towns to explore, new traits, skills, even a new cheat, objects as well... What do you want more? If combined with Ambitions, it makes a very interesting mixture. ;)
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

That's the expansion that gave the buydebug cheat

Only one piece of advice ... SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE ... ooops, that's six.

My wife and I play together.  Every time one of us says "That's good" or similar, it's time to hit the save button!

It doesn't solve every situation, but it certainly helps avoiding losing a couple of hours of game-play.

Still six pieces of great advice, which is worth following whether you have World Adventures or not.

I think its worth buying World Adventures because you get to explore tombs, fight mummys, and collect lots of treasures and come home a richer Sim.(After you sell the treasures that is)
