Ok, I know I've read somewhere about how to change my sims' traits, but I'm having trouble getting it to work.
After a few tries shift+lmc I got 'add to active family'. I added the merchant. His face appeared in my quest list. I was then able to shift+lmc and check his traits. How then, do I remove him again?
Secondly, the cheat is not working anymore. Any other sims I try to add to the family don't work, even after reloading (I didn't save the first try, of course). Their picture won't appear in my active sims list, so I can't then change their traits.
Ideally I only want to change ONE sim - my monarch. I have started again a few times, and really don't want to go through it all again. I decided to stick with the game I had gotten furthest with. So I want to change my monarch's traits, and I need to check my other non-active heroes, because I still have one more hero I need to create to get the achievement for gluttons and drunkards [silly me didn't write them down who was what, and the game doesn't show you unless you know a sim well

I finally found the post on the ea forum. For anyone else interested, you shift+Rmc to make a sim active, then shift+lmc to change their traits, then shift+Rmc again to deactivate them.
