The resetsim (+full name) does not work in my Sims Medieval . My knight is stuck and hungry and I can't make him move a step.

I'm not entirely sure that the reset code works with Medieval.  I'll ask Carl to come by and see if he has an answer.

I'm afraid it just doesn't exist in Medieval. The closest you can come to moving a Sim out of a pickle is to teleport cheat (after enabling such cheats), and that would only work for certain 'stuck' situations.

It does. You have to turn on the testing cheats and either simply click or shift-click, can't remember, on your Sim. Something like 'reset' will appear, click it, should work.
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

You're right! I do remember seeing that as an option.

One of my sims got stuck and the cheat didn't work.  I put it in just as you all said.  Of course I hadn't saved so I lost everything since the last save.  It's my story family.  But before that she kept falling through the floor of the main floor and down into the basement for some reason.

resetSim Leliana Greene.

Doesn't matter just went back to old save I happened to have.

I think it might have been because I used moveobjects on to move her.  Oh, well.  No biggy.  She and hubby are doing much better this time around.  No mods.  I just get free stuff from the sims 3 store.

No, but I'm not worried about it now.

Well I'm thinking about next time because you undoubtably will have to use it again.

Hi,
I loaded a file and noticed that one of my sims is stuck but when I tried resetSim the game froze. I can't click on anything but the little stuff like water and the fishes in the fish bowl keep moving. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thank you so much! My sim was stuck at the post box and this worked perfectly! It happened before to me and I did something which I could not remember. Besides this was far more simple than I could have imagined!!
